Yeah but they will wait it out. 2 games played and his stock just went highee after each game. Transfermarkt has him as most expensive JNT player At 40 mils. This guy aint leaving beliw 20 mils i think even 25 mils seeing how vital hw is for NEC and how his value just raises after each game.

Kodai Sano to Hoffenheim is done after sources. Should be official these days. Fee around 20 million €.

Even though I wanted him to stay in NEC for the Champions League, it's great news.

  5. PSV and NEC have reached an agreement on the sale of Kodai Sano (22) to the national champion. The Japanese is currently in Greece for the Olympiakos-NEC match, but in the background there have been big steps towards the completion of his transfer.

Its the same league. He was ready for a new challenge.

  9. Several highly coveted Dutch talents from Eredivisieclubs not being Feyenoord, PSV, Ajax, going to those clubs failed because of the pressure at these clubs with expectations.
On top of that, you're being watched by top clubs from Europe to see how you perform on CL-level.
Impress here and the real top clubs come knocking.
Saibari from PSV impressed at PSV both in the league and in the CL, resulting in a transfer to Bayern.
I'm a huge fan of Sano and think it was a major stupid move not to take him to the worldcup, and for his development I think this is the best move, apart from going to Feyenoord, he could make.
He will be on the biggest stage of the world and will be judged as such by the big teams.

Ogawa is likely to leave cause it looks like Nijmegen want to get rid of him. Kind of surprising but let's see.

For Sano, I would say it's a great move.

Wonder where he will go. Very quiet these days.

  14. NEC had to set up a selection of 22 players for the two-part match with Olympiakos in the preliminary round of the Champions League.
Acquisitions such as Dusan Tadic and Emre Mor are immediately present, while Koki Ogawa and Adam Tahaui are missing. No later than Thursday at midnight, NEC had to deliver the selection to UEFA. It was clear that this would not be an abc, since the Nijmegen selection usually does not have the necessary number of self-developed players. The result: NEC has had to shorten the list of players to 22 names.
This had especially unpleasant consequences for Ogawa and Tahaui, Willum, Thór Willumsson and Vito van Crooij. They are missing from the selection. Acquisitions Tadic, Mor, Kaj Sierhuis, Jamiro Monteiro, Clement Bischoff and Tobias Storm have survived the selection. Perr Schuurs is not yet in the game, he still needs some time to get fit.

  15. "Adam has only just joined the club. Let's take it easy with that boy and develop him and make him better," Schreuder responds in the Gelderlander. "Koki has only been in training for a week. I have tried to explain to the players that they should not see this as something negative."
