Ah thanks for the info! I missed the last ticket window so eagerly waiting for this one. Can’t believe it’s going so slow with just weeks to go.
It was a rumor but looks official, tickets to go back on sale on November 20. Not time confirmed but I'm assuming around noon Doha time...
Awesome, thanks for this… They had sent a tweet earlier to that I was intending to post. Finally. Let’s see what time it starts.
Yes, I see that’s confirmed on their Twitter account. I wonder how competitive are these things? I’ve always wondered about demand for Asian Cup tickets.
Hope people got tickets they needed. I just needed a ticket to the final which I ended up getting and it wasn't too hard.
Yeah, I'm doing my "every stadium" tour again just like I did for the World Cup + Arab Cup. So basically I won't be there for the first 2 days hence no opening ceremony but got the following games: Jan 16 - Thailand v Kyrgyzstan, Duhail Jan 18 - India v Uzbekistan, Ahmed Bin Ali Jan 19 - Vietnam v Indonesia, Duhail Jan 20 - Bahrain v Malaysia, Al Sadd Jan 22 - Qatar v China, Khalifa Stadium Jan 29 - R16 A1 v 3C/D/E, Al Bayt (probably Qatar) Jan 30 - R16 F1 v E2, Education City (probably Saudi v someone?) Feb 2 - QF, Al Janoub (potentially Saudi v Australia/Uzbekistan) Feb 7 - SF, Al Thumama Feb 10 - Final, Lusail Anyway, I've picked some lowkey games for the first round as I'll probably catch the bigger guns as the tournament progresses. Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and Qatar are countries I have "connections" with so going to see those teams play. Duhail I'll go to twice but the stadium is right across the street from my office so won't be much hassle getting there and at $7 a ticket no real problems if I forfeit one of those anyway. Looking forward to the games!
do you guys anticipate another batch coming? I just decided to attempt to go watch Korea's group stage, but it doesn't seem like any tickets are available right now.
And Qatar sack Carlos Queiroz just a month before the tournament begins... maybe trying to copy Morocco at the 2022 World Cup... Carlos Queiroz sacked by Qatar after 11 games in charge (thenationalnews.com)
Hey there. I’m back after a while out. I would think so. They announce ticket sales via Twitter. I just got tickets for the SFs and Final. They are so cheap that if Korea doesn’t make it all the way to the final I won’t lose that much money.
Spain too in 2018, with Lopetegui. Didn’t turn out so good for the Spaniards. I found Qatar very disappointing in the WC. I still don’t know how they managed to win it all in 2019. Still pretty raw about Korea’s loss in the QF.
