Thanks for that scouting report. I kinda missed that he’d moved from Blackpool to Swansea.

People on a few other sites are saying Patinos skill set is unreal, its just he hasn't physically developed yet, which based on his age is understandable. Some saying he isn't the quickest, but he is constantly on the move and makes things happen.

Skilled but slow and plays 8? That sounds very familiar to a player who left us last season...

He isn’t fleet of foot but is a technical
Prospect and doesn’t mind getting g stuck in

Swansea fans rate him and I would like to see him get a chance here

Marquinhos just got recalled from Nantes. My assumption is we are looking for a better club to loan him out again.

Hope so. Showed glimpses of talent that first season but seems to have stalled.

Send him to Portugal. More offense friendly league full of people speaking his native tongue. Hope you can get his value up enough to sell him this summer.

You’re ready to give up on a 20 year old, just because he didn’t duplicate Martinelli’s success as a teenager?

Mika Biereth has been recalled from Scotish side Motherwell to possibly be loaned to Sheffield Wednesday.

Weird for us to end his loan in a weaker league where he is settled to send him on loan to a team in *checks notes* a weaker league for a few months. If he went to a lower EPL team, or went to a Championship team I could understand it.

Okonkwo went to Sturm Graz last season, maybe Arsenal like the way they develop and coach players?

My tinfoil hat theory is KSE wants to butter them up before a takeover as he builds a multiclub network along with the Rapids.

Are you sure it's a weaker league?

Austrian and Scottish leagues are pretty even if you look at transfermarkt value or UEFA coefficient.

Motherwell are in 9th place while Sturm Graz are 2nd, so maybe the chance to play against defensive low blocks?

Marquinhos isn’t that dude imo he’s gone in the summer

For real tho, if u18s can't move to England, it makes sense to have a feeder club on the continent to stash prospects until they can get a work permit.

Ugh. That sucks for him. He's gonna go down as one of those players... "he had so much potential but his body just broke down so much he couldn't realize it" And scratch all discussion of a loan recall. ;)

This says an option to buy and also mentions Rekik, who I didn't know had been recalled.

With Swansea’s coaching change last month, Patino now appears to be getting limited minutes off the bench. He has averaged just under 22 minutes per game in the last 7 games.

I read somewhere that Swansea's coach said Patino is good on the ball but needs work off the ball. The article also said Patino sought out the coach and had an hour long chat with him.

His attacking numbers per 90 minutes, 0.5 goals plus assists and 2.1 key passes make it look like the old Swansea coach was primarily using him as an attacking midfielder, the new coach may be asking him to be more of a central midfielder.
