Bad news for the Dutch as both Braga and Lens win today though Inter did beat Benfica.

Maybe unpopular opinion but still think a Benelux league would be welcome (and cut some dead wood).

  4. Wouldnot make a difference and only reduces the UEFA tickets for the CL/EL/Conf. League both leagues now have.
If the suckers only would win the matches they should have won, France would be still behind us.
No way that BeNed league would get the number of CL spots we and Belgium have next season, let alone if a miracle resurrection of our points gathering comes up, the number of CL spots we and Belgium then would have by taking France 5th spot.

Portugal can't catch up, so we're save with the extra CL spot next season. Worse is that we after this round most likely are even in points with France again,so we can say goodbye to the 3 CL spots + Qualifier spot.

Of course it has to be a Dutchman to give Braga the win, Bruma scored the winning third goal.

That’s Portuguese Bruma and not the Dutch bruma who is at RKC waalwijk

Exciting first half and well taken goal by Greizman to tie things up. Really dislike Simeone's antics on the sidelines.

I have different thoughts/conclusions about this. Also think it worked well in women's football (and the disbandening has pulled the clock back, stupid decision). But that discussion fits better at another place than this thread.

Feyenoord deserved at least a draw, they had the better of the play. Athletico was ruthless in the chances they had.

Unexpected win by Lens compensated with unexpected loss by PSG.
To cancel the wins of Lens and Braga we need wins from AZ and Ajax for our hunt for UEFA Spot 5.

I don't believe the xG stat above. Certainly in the Feyenoord game all three Athletico goals were expected as they were poorly defended. Don't remember much about the PSV game but that their defense is just awful and any shot to the backline has to be expected goal.:p

AZ down to 10 men and have to defend a 1-0 lead. Really bad challenge by Lahod with a boot to the head.

Jan Paul van Hecke seems to be a revelation in the EPL. Wonder if the Ajax attack can break down the B&HA defense, because a win for our coefficient rating is a must.

An accumulation of sporting successes follows. He seizes his chance in the Premier League, settles in a direct duel with Erling Haaland, makes European football with Brighton and goes to the European Championship with the Dutch Young Orange Team. There he forms a central duo with Micky van de Ven. Brighton break open his contract, which runs for one more season. "If I were you, I'd stay. I think you're going to play a lot. You're going to get your minutes', are the words De Zerbi uses to convince Van Hecke of a longer stay.

  19. Vermoedelijke opstelling PSV: Benítez; Teze, Ramalho, Boscagli, Dest; Schouten, Veerman, Tillman; Bakayoko, De Jong, Lozano.

  20. One player I thought was pretty bad at PSV, and that one was Veerman. Far too sloppy and responsible for alot of balls lost.
Player of the match to me was Lozano. Had a very good contribution in the defensive tasks combined with an inspired attacking performance.
Bosz could have swapped Tillman at the start of the second half. Don 't get why he waited that long.
