AZ blew it. Unbelievable.
If these are the points we're missing to tip France from spot 5, and AZ in two season's are fighting for spot 3 or 4, they blew their chance on a CL ticket, which in the new set up is rumoured to be worth 50-60 million.
I'm just reading confirmation in the AD Sportwereld site about my suspicion on goalie Ryan.
"Az initially had nothing to fear from Bosnia's current number nine until goalkeeper Mathew Ryan, still in the hero in the penalty shoot-out in the final play-off round against SK Brann, made two mistakes and a substitute from Zrinjski (Aldin Hrvanovic) who had just come on the field got it on the hips and made it 3-3. The winning goal in the closing stages ensured a true and memorable celebration in Mostar."
Gsus, AZ, Ajax and PSV all have foreign shitheads as goalies while superior Dutch ones were available.
I cannot believe what I just witnessed. Could not imagine this in my wildest dreams.
Hope they dump that foreigner asap.
I've got a suggestion for theM. Nick Marsma's contract was torn up by that club Messi is in now, because of rules and budgets.
He's a free agent and can be signed in an instant.
Ajax off to a good start, at least.
while that might be true, part of the problem is that the Dutch players/keepers too often want their buitenland adventure as opposed to playing in Eindhoven or Alkmaar or Waalwijk.
Gorter!!!!! Great save
Oi, that was close for goal nr 3!
Okay, I think I'm going to switch off and look for the result later.
This goes on my nerves.
There were some weird defensive actions being displayed. OM not very good at aiming, but that's not something to count on to continue after the break.
Ajax was outshot considerably.
they never should have spent money on the German youth GK when Gorter is playing just fine and they have the Setford brothers in the academy. Mislintat is a FOOL.
Gorter man of the match, based on the saves I saw (didnot watch the whole match) and the stats.
I guess we will see what Feyenoord are made of in this week's CL match.
Yup, this is the real challenge. Atletico and their coach are fighters with a very strong record this decade in the CL
It sucks that we in this match have to do without Gimenéz.
A draw would already be a good result.
Hope Ajax gets a win and Brighton beats Marseille for our coefficient ranking benefit.
AZ has to win, to prevent France from coming closer.
PSV really get lucky that a Sevilla goal is pegged back by handball. I don't think it was the right call.
What a pair of clown teams. Noa Lang is the only quality PSV player and Sevilla are just rubbish this year yet still could have won it except for Sergio Ramos who gave up a PK and the free kick that Teze scored on.
