Saudi game was a fluke and a robbery. Try to hold yourself together until Mexico you and the usual eternal pessimists here.

Imagine this slug version Paredes and headless chicken De Paul going against Tchouameni and Rabiot or Mbappe facing Molina who enters in panic mode even when receiving a simple pass.

No thanks. Better check out now, kick out all the luggage and old guys and restart in march with young & fast players looking to build for 2026.

Just as we want players to get psychologists to mentally prepare for games, I do think that some of the users in this forum need to follow that same advice as well. The game vs Saudi Arabia was a big set back and I'm confident Scaloni and the players will have learned a very valuable lesson in that. Good news is that, if some results goes our way, Argentina can still top the group. Let's support the team and hope for the best. Scaloni and this group of players deserve that.

Except they had like 20 shots in that match.

We struggled to create chances against some arab bums and resorted to crossing at the end...

Rabiot :ROFLMAO: you gotta be trolling. Paredes in his sleep has more talent than him.

With Enzo we will eat French midfielder alive. I hope we get them I am praying.

It’s funny how quickly people change their tune after a single match. The game was done and dusted if Lautaro’s goal stood.

Just relax, or don’t watch. Nobody wants to hear negativity.

Actually it's good I think playing as underdog is always better for Argentina. Thats how we win

We had 100 shots againts Sweden in 2002, only 4 shots againts Brazil in 1990, 2 shots on target againts Brazil in 2021.

    Guess which game we won.

Enzo is great but I fear the other two CMs are deadweight and will bring his level down.

Paredes better than Rabiot? Juventus doesn't seem to agree. They started playing better and winning after benching Paredes. Sadly, he's not the same player as an year ago.

Paredes was injured and literally just moved. Picking at straws wow. Paredes is a better player and better performer in CL. Paredes beat Brazil just reminder. He beat Frenkie De Jong and many others just over a year ago.

Saudi Arabia + Var team +insane luck+ time wasting. Germany lost to Japan without any of those handicaps.

Paredes plays on the same team as Rabiot and was brought to Juventus as a big player to solidify their defense. He has been injured and out of form. Guido is in form and should start. Let's not act like Rabiot is some way superior player.

Yes, you said it yourself: a year ago.

Same story for majority of our squad.

This is the sad reality: this tournament is 6 months too late for a lot of our players. And the coach is not willing to replace half of the team at once as he should so, we'll probably suffer in the next game as well.

Only changes needs to be the following:

    1. Almada on left wing. This is a tactical change that gives us what we had with Nico. I haven't even seen Almada this year but he was brought for that so I assume he can play that role. Di Maria to come as sub in 2nd half.

    2. Play in form players for ones out of form, suffering injuries. This is a no brainer cause we have 2 top player who are practically direct replacements and who the team already knows: Guido x Paredes, Lisandro x Romero.

    3. Enzo for Papu in midfield.

    4. If we are up a goal at 70 min, Dybala or Julian for Messi. Probably Julian since he is so good at pressuring. We go to a 4-4-2.

I agree with you about the 6 months too late but you are acting like our players are scrubs. They might not be match fit, that's up to Scaloni to determine, but you are straight up hallucinating inferiority.

We will see vs Mexico. and vs France later.
