I was thinking that too but I just don't think he would go that route against Uruguay. Maybe against a team that knows how to keep the ball but those guys are really bad at keeping possession.

I was thinking the same thing.
He could have been a dancer in Hollywood based on those moves.
At least a backup dancer for someone like Justin Timberlake or something.

It's that Caribbean humidity that makes the air thick with a real feel of +15 degrees higher.... However with such little time to get settled I feel both teams will struggle in heat. Regarding RB, I would much rather have Alzate play RB and move Cuadrado in that internal MF position where he's been thriving with the NT. We lose much more with him not playing MF.

Against Uruguay, I'd also lean toward the more physical guy like Cuadrado.

Then again, we play in Quito for the following match. That's also a game where I'd want guys who can run and pressure for 90 minutes. Having Lerma and Cuadrado start both those games would be pretty demanding.

It sure seemed like we struggled with the climate as much as our opponents last cycle.
This time around though I think it will work to our advantage. Queiroz wants us to play fast and be in peak physical condition and we have the guys on the wings that can drive Uruguay crazy. (5 subs helps us out a lot too.)

Not sure I want Alzate at Rb but he is an option. I'd am leaning towards Munoz or Orejuela.

Lerma is still relatively young and has been waiting for this moment his whole life. I think he has the engine and stamina to play both matches.

Cuadrado though may need to be taken out at like the 60 or 70 minute mark against Uruguay.

I would prefer Munoz hands down over Alzate in RB but if it was up to Cuadrado or Alzate I would keep Alzate in RB.

Well, it is going to be interesting to see which route Queiroz goes.
    Medina is officially out.

Hope he calls up Munoz and Orejuela.

And a few minutes ago the crazy rumor has been squashed. The Uruguay match will be in Barranquilla.

(That being said, who knows what will happen in the future? Miami or some other neutral site may be still in play as a plan "B".)

Glad I was wrong about Cardona assuming he does play. I did not think it would happen this soon but Queiroz seems to be giving him a chance and it makes me happy. His creative spark and passing can be used. Last cycle he played very well in both matches against Ecuador. And he could also give us something against Uruguay if they close down shop and play too defensive.

Agree. We need another creative other than James. Unfortunatelly Quintero will go to China so this won't do, at least Cardona is still here. I would also think that el Rifle Andrade can contribute. One of the best players in Nacional. Ricaurte could have been if he wouldn't go to the US.
