Michael Estrada is not on the squad sheet for Toluca's game against Santos Laguna. He was on the bench and didn't play in their last game. I don't know if Alfaro will or even should call him up for the games against Brazil and Peru. Jordan Sierra is starting tho.

He will definitely be called up. We don’t have mucho peso up front.

Enner had covid like symptoms and didn't play in yesterday's game. He tested negative though. You're right, it's slim pickings up top.

Sao Paolo announced Robert Arboleda tested positive. A few players have recently recovered - Hincapie, Porozo.

Romario Caicedo has been called up by Alfaro. I'm surprised tbh. Not because he doesn't deserve it but because he hasn't been taken into account by Alfaro in the past.

Some other players that have been called up are Byron Castillo, Leon, Franco, Rojas, Arreaga.

Leon is out too. Alfaro usually calls up 5 CBs. Torres and Hincapie are definitely on the list. Arboleda too if he makes it recovers from covid in time. Porozo may finally get called up.

Not to be negative but I'm worried about the games now. Castillo and Leon are out due to injury. Arboleda, Estrada, Carcelen, Janner Corozo, and Hurtado all have covid. Enner is also out and it's suspected it's covid. Gruezo still hasn't recovered from his knee injury and there's no word if he'll make it in time.

Dominguez also has covid and is listed as "doubtful" despite promising physical development of the illness - I'd assume that he's minimally symptomatic or completely asymptomatic.

Holy crap so many injuries and covid related absences!!!

What are the chances we have castillo, sarmiento, dominguez back by the time the PAR ARG games come?

Not to state the obvious but if we manage to squeak at least 1 point from these 2 matches we're guaranteed to start the final 2 rounds in 3rd place right?

I believe Castillo is a permanent no for the next 2 fixtures...regrettably, his covid case seems fresh.

Reports indicate that Carlos Gruezo has recovered from his knee injury and will be part of the squad. He's an important player but I hope he's not rushing back from his injury.

Enner started and came off the bench to start the second half today. Fenerbahce has another game on Saturday. Hopefully he stays healthy.

Janner Corozo and Carcelen have been called up to the NT so I guess they've recovered from covid.

Still no word on Dominguez, Estrada, and Arboleda.

Hurtado seems to have recovered from covid. He was officially announced by RB Bragantino. With Castillo out I think Alfaro will call him up. Preciado has a yellow so it's best to play it safe and call up another RB. I think Alfaro will given that the only other player he could have called up was Lopez and he hasn't done so.

Estrada and Dominguez have tested negative for covid so they'll be able to play against Brazil and Peru. I haven't seen any update on Arboleda.

I'm surprised to see Cuco Angulo not on the list. Taking another right back would have been a good idea given that Angelo has a yellow.

As much playing time as Angulo may get he isn't scoring and hasn't been scoring for a very long time. I'm surprised he maintained himself in the nt radar for so long he got his chances in the nt.

I'm happy with the calls up front we need someone who can score up front. Jordy and Djorkaeff are good alternatives and can give Estrada and Enner good competition for playing time.

Mena got injured Washington Corozo is injured as well. Aaron Rodriguez got the call to replace them.

Sorry for my sailor mouth brothers but that Brighton coach is a BITCH.

How is he going to recall Caicedo, only to have him riding the bench!?

Hopefully the lack of playing time doesn't affect Caicedo too much.

I feel like everything is going to go against us for the game against Brazil. Injuries, COVID/no público.
