Great game, Argentina started strong but our second half was fantastic.
Question, why isnt Stiven Plaza in this? Is it because of his transfer?

Just caught the hilights, great game by our squad.Cant wait for the Uruguay rematch.that first goal was straight up bulldozer style, all Campana had to do was toe it in.I heard Steven Plaza’s team didn’t let him join the mini tri.

Saw the highlights of each game, those kids can play. Hopefully we can have someone step up in the near future for the national team.

Wow ,these kids are surprising me,Plata going to Sporting Lisboa, and Goalkeeper Ramirez to Real Sociedad.Whats even more shocking is Campana’s performances, considering he was the third forward, but lucked out because of Valladolid s refusal to let Stiven Plaza join the mini tri and Reasco tearing a ligament.he sure has made the most of the tournament, scoring 3 goals and almost scoring 2 golazos that would have been the highlight of sub 20.

I hope they give these kids some sort of continuity during Copa America.

This U20 squad is good, but it isn't better than past other ones both individually and collectively. Vizuete's U20 with Renato Ibarra, Marcos Caicedo, John Narvaez, Edson Montano, etc. was A LOT better than this squad in other areas where this squad lacks.

This U20 team doesn't have as much depth when attacking as past Ecuadorian squads, nor does it have an aggressive/attacking oriented style like Vizuete's squad from years back which IMO was the best one we've had. This Ecuador U20 side doesn't create many opportunities, BUT (and here's the key difference)...these kids know how to put the behind the net which is what past squads lacked. The team is very organized and has balance which is something Jorge Celico was not known for during his time in U. Católica, but he's learned that concept throughout the years. Lots of organized and collective-oriented playing. There's really no star on this team. The team's strength is their collective playing and how organized they are tactically both when attacking and defending. I'll even go as far as saying that this team doesn't have players who individually stand out more than players in past squads...ex. John Narvaez, Renato Ibarra, Edson Montano, Marcos Caicedo, John Jaramillo etc. These guys individually made a difference in moments where the collective performance would lack. I don't see players like that on this squad. For example, although Rezabala, Campana, and Alvarado are the 3 top scorers of the entire tournament, I don't see anything special about them individually. Campana is not better than Edson was, Rezabala and Alvarado are not better than Ibarra or Caicedo were. Gonzalo Plata, although he hasn't had an impact as heavily as one would expect, is the most talented player on this squad. Sporting Lisbon has him now valued at 60 million euros if anyone is interested in purchasing.

I think the most interesting players on this squad with possibilities for a bright future are: Moises Ramirez (GK), John Espinoza, Emerson Espinoza, Jose Cifuentes, Porozo(Defender), and Gonzalo Plata. Campana gets an honorable mention, but I still think he needs a lot of development before starting in BSC. Some commentators think he's ready, I personally don't. Rezabala and Alvarado do not impress me. I don't see them becoming crucial players in the campeonato and in la selection mayor.

Que judadota , Rezabala steals it,puts a “pase de crack”,to Plata and Campana finishes it.This kid has a really good vision of the game, although at times he seems to hold the ball to long, the other issue is his size,he’ll get eaten up by defenses.how can you not be impressed by this kid.
