5472 in Hartford on a Wednesday night. That team is in 12th place in the East and still got within 28 of a sellout on a weeknight.

-------------------Saw this game on TV and crowd looked legit- love their stadium, just wish it had been grass field -------Saw the RGV game later and their was no-one literally on the far side of the stadium- they have a nice stadium, but seems way too big for them. I hope the local high schools are using it for football
Two things on the RGV stadium. 1. It is too big. 2. The side away from the camera has box suites at field level like San Jose so it looks awful on TV even if people are there.
--- Why was it build so big to begin with? Are there really any other events there? It's the hazard with too many of our stadiums, the sunny side of a stadium, especially on a hot day, will always look bad unless you are really selling out all the time. Does the position of the stadium get determined by TV camera positions not pointing in the sun or is it to keep your higher priced seats and boxes in the shade....Moral of the story, build smaller and don't play day games in warm area......Dallas, Houston always look bad on TV for this reason and heck, even the LA Galaxy too !
