The MLS reserve sides that will be moving after this season (Atlanta 2, LAG II, Loudoun, NYRB II) won't be tracked. I'll try to figure out how to make tables work here and keep this updated with the numbers shared in the Scores section of the USLC website. I don't foresee putting int the effort to hunt down any unreported numbers via local newspapers, etc. 3/12 Attendance: Charleston - 2523 Memphis - 2431 Miami - 1244 Louisville - 8318 Colorado Springs - 5036 Rio Grande Valley - 5132 San Antonio - 6033 Phoenix - 8409 Sacramento - 11569 San Diego - 5014 That's 36157 total attendance and an average of 5165 so far. I expect Birmingham and New Mexico will increase that average today. I'll try to paste in the table after those games in a reply post.
That total and average are very wrong. My Word document only counted up about 1/3 of the way. Not sure how to get the average column right until everyone has played a game. Through the end of the Birmingham v Tampa Bay match we've got a total of 64,986 and an average of 5907.8. The Saturday numbers are actually a total of 55709 and an average of 5570.9.
3/13 Attendance: Birmingham - 9277 New Mexico - 11247 Across 12 games that's 76233 total people and an average of 6352.75.
Detroit City puts 5344 in the stands in bad weather to witness a 1-0 win in their first ever home match in USL play.
3/19 Attendance: Missing Las Vegas because it's not on the website yet. Colorado Springs - 5232 Detroit - 5344 El Paso - 8124 (2nd highest ever) Las Vegas - Louisville - 8846 Memphis - 3023 Orange County - 5061 Pittsburgh - 2776 San Diego - Tampa Bay - 5192 Tulsa - 4531 Only Oakland, Monterey Bay, Indy, and Hartford haven't hosted a match yet. Total for the week so far is: 52089 for an average of 5208.9 and the average for the year is at 5832.82.
Got a couple of numbers, but two of the completed games (Miami and Birmingham) don't have attendance listed and the league scores page is broken again with multiple completed games having never gone live and still showing that they're supposedly in warmups. Detroit - 4733 Louisville - 8551 New Mexico - 10676 Tampa Bay - 6061 Hopefully the league gets things sorted out. This is 3 weeks of play and 3 weeks of major problems with their own scores and statistics pages.
Sacramento - 8706 Rio Grande Valley - 3759 Not bad considering one finished right at kickoff for the US Men's qualifier and the other started 30 minutes into that qualifier match. Missing the same 5 that were missing on Saturday night, and the league seems to completely ignore fan requests for information. I've contacted them 3 times over the past week and they haven't bothered to even send a courtesy email as a response.
LOL at the RGVFC number ... I mean I know it isn't you but LMAO no. Pretty sure WE had as many fans at that match as RGV did.
3/26 - New Mexico gets 7731 on a night with the final CONCACAF qualifiers all kicking off at the same time. That's really good.
4/1 - Charleston gets a crowd of 2934 for their home game against Las Vegas. That's a step up of about 400 over their previous home game.
The USL Scores page has finally updated all the week 3 attendance numbers. Birmingham - 5122 Las Vegas - 5391 Miami - 1174 Phoenix - 7321 We're now only missing the Las Vegas vs Phoenix match on 3/19. Here's the updated Week 3 chart:
4/2 attendance: Detroit - 4157 Hartford - 5022 Indy - 8037 Miami - 1083 Oakland - 4124 Sacramento - 10241 San Antonio - 5511 Tulsa - 4082 Pittsburgh and Birmingham don't have numbers posted yet. Solid numbers for both Indy and Hartford in their home debuts. Current average for the week is 5292.2 and for the season is 5700.58. One game tomorrow, with San Diego hosting El Paso.
Birmingham - 5075 Pittsburgh - 2456 Still missing the 3/19 home game for Vegas. All other numbers reported now. Here's the updated chart through week 4.
Your TOTAL and AVERAGE columns don't seem right. I see the same number in both of them for every team. Or should I only pay attention to the league-wide average?
I'm only doing the league wide numbers to get the sum and average for each week [Week (S) and Week (A)] along with the yearly sum and average. I thought about doing the averages for teams but haven't bothered figuring out how to do that in a Word table.
Vegas is missing once again. 4/9 attendance: El Paso - 7148 OC - 4167 Phoenix - 8109 RGV - 3357 San Diego - 3400 Tampa Bay - 4947 Tulsa - 2851 An average of 4841.29 so far. The total for the season is 298,895 without the two missing Las Vegas numbers, so definitely over 300k for the season through 5 weeks.
Got the Vegas and Birmingham numbers finally. Las Vegas - 4922 Birmingham - 4207 Here's the chart with the team averages displaying properly now (and hopefully accurately). Only missing the Vegas home match from 3/19.
We'll turn out for anything despite the weather. Couple years ago I went to a game where it was raining sideways all evening. Still had a decent crowd.
