CNN called it with Warnock having 50.5 percent, and Fulton and DeKalb counties that Warnock won by a ton have uncounted votes.

Living here, I know it's now considered a "purple" state, but the Republicans could have easily won this seat if they had put forward a half-decent candidate.

The establishment Republicans must be furious at Trump for pushing Walker, along with the other losing candidates elsewhere. Will it be enough for them to actually do something about it?

And I would say the opposite for here in Wisconsin. A decent candidate would have won v. Johnson. A good candidate would have walloped him.

Seems to me that, when confronted with defeat, the GOP's preferred response is to double down on wackadoo.

That’s certainly what the GOP did when Obama won. The unfortunate thing is, tho, doubling down on the crazy worked for the GOP.

I’d be disappointed, but I’m to undisappointed in Warnock victory to care!

The polls were spot on. The better pollsters all had Warnock at +2 to +3, which is where he will end up.

Well done. He's won at the top end of your estimate. Better than the 3-4% I saw being thrown around.

I'll still likely be wrong. Warnock 51.5, Walker 48.5 not implausible

    Yep

the problem with blaming Trump is walker romped to victory in the primary including with elite backing

The gop base is insane and Mitch and Co are cowards who no longer have much say on candidates selection

I disagree with "easily." As you know, Warnock already beat a "half-decent" candidate in a runoff two years ago. And Warnock did a lot of ground work these past two years ---- he was everywhere, working his ass off, in contrast to the perception of Abrams. But yeah, a more mainstream Republican candidate this cycle probably would have gotten enough Kemp momentum to win.
