Apparently that latter one is forcing the scheduled RBNY - Rapids game at Red Bull Arena on July 30th to be delayed until Tuesday Aug 2nd. (This is where I would gripe about the Rapids yet again taking one for the league so somebody could play a friendly, but nobody cares)

It was mostly Loudoun players and maybe a couple of bench players from United. They began this series during a break last year. I went. I saw a few social media posts, but I did not see anything on the main website before the game. The Loudoun kids actually controlled play. They gave up a goal on a set piece, but deservedly got the tie late.

At the time the Miami match was announced the CEO at the company I worked for (small start-up type company) bought tickets in the supporters section and flights from Denver to Miami to take his kids. For the amount he paid he could have taken them to the actual league match in Spain and thrown in a day or two of sightseeing for less.
Yeah I heard that match didn't sell out until pretty much the last minute because they completely overpriced it... though I guess it DID sell out in the end so they priced it just right? I wonder when sports will use this strategy that the Rolling Stones used on one of their recent tours where they charge completely insane amounts, and also a rather cheap option where you have no idea where you'll sit. Then as the ultra expensive tickets dont sell, they dump a whole bunch of those flex tickets on the market, and the arena is still filled while they maximized their income.
