This team excites me for soccer in Nashville. I really think the 3 man back line is the way to go, only because Romney, Zimmerman and Maher are so strong defensively. I believed at the first of the year and still believe, we do not have enough offense. I hope Teal Bunbury is all that was advertised. Alex Muyl is having a career year so far but he does itch the ref the wrong way often. I know he wants to play all out all the time but he gets a lot of fouls called on him. Dax is always reliable reversing the ball and set others up for winning. I wish we could see more of Sean Davis and Dax on the field at the same time. I wonder if Godoy could play outside? I imagine a midfield of Godoy-Davis-McCarty-Muyl. I think we would loose something defensively, with Lovitz on the bench. The Goalie situation confuses me. Meredith has been the back-up for the last year and a half but has never played or maybe some clean-up duty. Then Panicco gets called up and starts the next 2 games. I do like Panicco he is almost a local, from Paducah, Kentucky. If I understood right Willis is not injured, which is great. MUKTAR IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!! A friend asked me the other day "does Muktar played for a National team". I told him "no". I wondered myself "why?". He is German and they simply have too many good players. Maybe with a stellar year in Nashville he will join their National team.
That's Soccer. I would say last last week was our worst game and this week was our best game. It is nice to see Zimmerman and Leal back.
This July is going to be a months that shows who Nashville SC is. We have 6 games. Portland and Vancouver bookend this month and both are pushing to get into the playoffs, which are still far off this fall. Charlotte and Cincinnati are Eastern Conference foes that need points. Seattle has been hot of late, they are a different team than the one we beat at the first of the year. LAFC is the HOTTEST team they are scoring tons of goals. If we can get 5 or 6 wins Nashville could be top 3.
That was one of the worst games I have seen Nashville play. The communication on offense and defense was non-existent or just bad. I think it is time for a players only meeting. This lose is not on the coaching. It was solely on the players. The only thing I would have done different was, bring in Bunbury a bit sooner and give him more time out there. He actually looked good to me.
Yanks Abroad Shaq Moore has left Spain's Club Deportivo Tenerife, and will continue his career at Major League Soccer (MLS) team Nashville Soccer Club, alongside fellow #USMNT defender Walker Zimmerman.
If you saw our game there was a kid who ran on the field at the end of the game to get a selfie with Gareth Bale. He's a family friend. My kids played soccer with him. He received a 2 year ban from MLS matches and a $10,000 fine.
All I have to say is "You gotta do what you gotta do." I have run on the field once at Neyland stadium up in Knoxville back in the '90s. I was arrested, fine and banned for the rest of the year. But I have a epic story just like he will have.
TZHS is about a 10 minute drive from my house https://www.frontrowsoccer.com/2022...shville-sc-extends-jacobs-contract-thru-2026/ The Nashville Soccer Club announced Wednesday the contract extension of general manager Mike Jacobs through 2026. A graduate of Tappan Zee High School in New York, Jacobs joined Nashville SC in 2018 and has constructed rosters with his recruitment staff that have made the playoffs in each season he has been at the helm at the MLS and USL Championship level.
That was an ugly draw. With Lovitz and Muyl out next week, I would like to see Taylor Washington and Shaq Moore step in and play well. I would also like to see Muktar, Bunbury and Sapong on the field at the same time.
