It's finally here, the week you all have been waiting for: MLS ALL STAR WEEK!!!! MLS' Best takes on the best that LigaMX has to offer!!! Yeah, who am I kidding? Anyways, we're into the final third of the 2022 MLS season. Most teams have 10 games remaining to secure their position/place in the playoffs. I wonder if any teams are toast yet @Knave ? After this past week's games, playoff races are getting tighter. Philly failed to take advantage of NYCFC's loss in getting pants at FC Cincy over the weekend. LAFC did LAFC things, that is scoring bags of goals in a win. The Crew, Fire and Revs continued their second half resurgences. Meanwhile Orlando hasn't been able to translate their USOC magic to league play. Does anyone fear TFC again? 8 points separates teams 6-12 in the West. Out east 5 points separates teams 5-12. There are crucial matches in both conferences this weekend. Cincy welcomes Atlanta to TQL stadium where both teams look to build upon much need wins from this past weekend. The Red Bulls welcome Orlando to RBA to get revenge for their Open Cup loss and also get back on track after their disappointing scoreless draw with DC. Philly looks to rebound from just their third loss of the season, and quite frankly one of their worst performances in years, against the suddenly smoking hot Chicago Fire. Nashville welcomes the Loons to Geodis park, where they look to try to start to take advantage of their home heavy schedule down the stretch. Seattle welcome RSL to the Emerald City. LAFC will take on Charlotte at the Banc. As usual all game times are eastern. National broadcasts are listed. All non-national games can be seen on your local TV affiliate or ESPN+. MLS N&A play by play threads are neutral spaces. Keep all rivalry-esque banter out of these parts. Bullying. personal attacks and/or trolling will not be tolerated. It makes absolutely no sense that this is happening during commercial breaks. GOALIE WARS ARE BACK 🔥Would you replace PK shootouts with Goalie wars? #MLSAllStar pic.twitter.com/7q8hRXpPDu— The Athletic Soccer (@TheAthleticSCCR) August 10, 2022
LigaMX players were clearly too close on the first round and some illegal touches counted. I'm not sure if this is on Kelly or the AR. I'm not sure all 2-pointers have even counted.
You’re too invested. Its not like the MLB HR challenge where they completely missed two Schwarber HRs cuz the fix was in for PooHoles. Thx, Jay!
Just glancing at the MLS All-Star game roster, 16 of the 28 teams have players on the roster. As my team, Colorado, is one that does not and we are playing Columbus, who have one; I hope this is an advantage for us. **Us being the Rapids, not the MLS All Star team, lol.
I had no idea United had an All-Star until coming across a tweet mentioning Taxi on the field a few minutes ago.
Ref did not want a Seattle-Colorado situation on the restart and called it back. O Liga MX... Carlos Vela...

According to wikipedia... I see Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, and Spain also represented on the roster. There are 12 FIFA Mexicans on the Liga MX roster and 3 on the MLS roster. I see 9 US flags on the MLS roster.
Commissioner pick. Apparently to get Canadian representation into the squad, but... he's nowhere near the best Canadian player in MLS.
