I say this with all sincerity, I've only had good experiences with Austin fans online. Then again, I don't seek them out and tell them they are assholes and how their team is destined to fail. And, as I said, our ownership group makes flexing at other fan bases over owners more than a bit ridiculous.
Oh, I don't interact with Austin fans outside of this thread. I learned that lesson the hard way during The Saga. But I see them around Reddit & twitter and hoy crap, they've got a long way to come. Where TFC & Seattle's fans thought they invented everything, Austin's fans think they've perfected everything. If it weren't so sad it'd be disgusting.
You can discuss whatever you want. It’s your “periodic reminder” bullshit that gets old. Most of us somewhat follow the league. We know Austin isn’t the shitshow we hoped they would be. Once their shitbag owner is out of the league I won’t care any more about them than I do any other western conference team. So talk about their coaches, players, whatever. Just don’t be surprised when your rubbing old shit in peoples faces gets a reaction. Maybe it’s the reaction, the negative reaction, that you crave on so many different threads.
I'm 5'9", 185 pounds, consistently run a 7:25 mile, and you once bragged how your daughter mocked my appearance in my profile picture. I'm an extremely intimidating man. Your bravery is inspiring.
It should be. Your tendency to browbeat those that have the audacity to challenge your opinions is akin to a schoolyard bully.
Oh! You were talking about my intellect. You need to summon courage to challenge opinions. That's very understandable from someone like you. I appreciate your continued efforts at growth. This doesn't look like your season, unfortunately. But, it's about the journey. So many hilarious moments along the way.
It's fine. I'm simply providing stanger a service he desperately needs. Having little to offer in terms of analysis of the matches other than hoping everyone has fun and isn't too negative about the team, and also completely lacking a sense of humor, I give him the foil he needs. He can then put on his fan police badge, project upon me being a bad fan, and believe he is standing up against an Thanos sized bully protecting Crewdom from negativity. My shoulders aren't as wide as Thanos, but I can bear this with a smile. If I didn't exist stanger would need to invent me, or project his fantasies of virtuous defense onto another poster. In the end it's really harmless, and I'm more than happy to provide his weeks with a few minutes of meaning. We're a family here. It's what we do, warts and all.
Injuries and age finally caught up to them. Stuck with the same core too long. Also, Champions League curse strikes again. Bit of a joke, but there does seem to be something to it.
Breaking news: @ussoccer is aware that an @OrlandoCitySC 1st team employee was spying on @SacRepublicFC training yesterday and refused to leave for 30-45 minutes after multiple attempts. @opencup final is tomorrow night. #USOC2022— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) September 7, 2022
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Cincinnati is entering a new age – as the soccer capital of the United States - The Miami Student
It was written by a student at Miami for their college paper. I was at the sparsely attended friendly against Morocco. Close to a 50/50 split US/Moroccan fans and the Bailey, where I was sitting (not standing) was 1/3 full and a good number of those fans were cheering the opposition. It’s s shit soccer city.
Atlanta suspended Martinez for detrimental conduct for a game, trouble in paradise. Think I have heard rumblings of issues all season with Martinez.
You can say the same about quite a few Reds games. Hell, you could probably say the same about a lot of MLB games in general.
