Wow he is on fire. I think he is now under environment where he feels quite comfortable in terms of language, food, and culture. That helps him perform well, game in and game out. But he still needs to improve his stamina to get shot at KNT though.
LSW on fire again. 3 goals in the past 3 matches. Best performance so far imo. should've got at least 3 assists. His teammates are terrible.. He should get called up next time over shitty players like NSH.
Nice to see LSW doing well. I think this coming EAFF could be a real boost for his career and confidence. Anybody who follows Kleague have any insight on Cho Gue-sung? I like him for the NT and I saw that he is leading the Kleague in goals. However, 5 of those goals are penalty kicks. How good is he? Also, how are the oldies doing? Lee Chungyong, Ki SY, Koo JC, Ji DW, Kim BK, are they all washed asf? It's a shame about Ji's career - the dude, if healthy, had so much unfulfilled potential and would have been a great partner with Son had he had a chance.
Cho Gue-sung has the ability to win the ball in the air and create spaces for midfilders to exploit. Paulo Bento has been sold on to such strength and deployed him as a lone striker during absence of Hwang Ui-jo. CGS seems to be more clicking with SHM than HUJ at times. As for oldies, LCY is the only one that deserves the shot to book his ticket to Qatar on November. His pace at his current age of 33 is still amazing. We all know how technically this guy is sound. He can bring so much intangibles into the table. JDW has to be the biggest disappointment among the players you mentioned. I have several buddies that root for FC Seoul and they are all upset about JDW being non-factor.
Just booked the ticket for the Suwon Derby this weekend. I hope he can continue to show off his dancing skills lol.
Good stuff. I’m not a fan of HUJ as a starter for the reason you mentioned. Doesn’t mesh with Son. Pisses me off to see Son playing deep to “playmake” for HUJ. Ji DW’s situation is sad but I think he has no cartilage left in his knees. So unfortunate
LSW's elbowing that caused red card against Gangwon FC was nothing but brainfart. He was being on the way to where we had all expected from him. Due to EAFF break and suspension, he won't get any playing time over the three weeks. Considering his fitness level that he cannot spend full 90 minutes as of now (has to do with sitting on the bench too long during his stint at Belgium / Credit to Suwon FC boss Kim Do-kyun's proper management on LSW's playing time), this could kill his momentum. He is actually a leader in goal scoring without penalty kick.
