It has been a long start to the season without one of those Kreilach classics. We've had lots of examples of that sort of ball movement this half. It has been impressive.
A good half. RSL looking a bit vulnerable as Toronto attacks on their left side but we’ve got the same thing going. It’s great to feel like everyone on the field is playing in spot that best suits them. Including Ruiz balancing his defensive and offensive duties well. A disciplined second half can see this one out.
No shit. This attack is muting most of Toronto's danger (lack of close out on the goal aside) and is generating lots of opportunities, just pulling Toronto's defense in many directions. Some of these young kids are players man...Tate Schmitt is really a positive surprise as an extra attacker.
Carlos Salcedo getting faked so badly by Sergio he pretended he was injured deserves to be replayed several times.
Can we not allow Ruiz to take a free kick unless he's going to cross it? That kick probably hit a poor food worker
It can be strongly argued that the closest thing to a RSL miracle this season was Ruiz putting that PK on frame last week.
The defensive effort is great. We're still rotating, recovering, Toronto isn't able to get numbers on either wing right now.
Oh.. I think they might call it. Ball on backside because back heal? NO GOAL!!!! Edit... confusion reigns.
It did look on the replay like the ball was behind Damir, so the player swept through the ball and then Damir. Whatever, I think Damir should have fought through rather than go down and appeal for the foul.
