The LAG subs are impacting the game. We’re having trouble defending our box right now.

I hope those subs work. Galaxy have been knocking since their subs. Loefflesend for Chang is intriguing. Caldwell for Everton seems a bit of a wash?

    WOW!!!! Thank you MacMath!!!:inlove:

Really pretty exchange by Galaxy, with the heel flick. I think both those guys were subs.

Pornstache Besler in for Bobby Wood. I guess we are going to try and hold onto our butts to get through the end.

Taters in for Meram too. Meram was slowing down. However, this is starting to look like our game against the Hailstorm.

    Poop. Not good enough.

It would be amazing if this gets called offside.

It all happened too fast to see anything wrong from the East stands.

Williams came from offside to knock Glad from defending the initial delivery into the box. The finish was all good but offside in play before that.

The D really worked hard and held their lines down the stretch. We had the good McMath today - granted, I would have liked to see more attack in the final 20-30m, but honestly LA was really pouring it on.

    Great win!

Glad is my MOTM. He was shutting down everything.

I was really nervous when Silva took that yellow on the goal. Had a feeling he'd wind up getting sent off later. Glad he wasn't.

I don't like how we ended this game. We basically surrendered 2/3 of the field and were very fortunate not to get scored on in the last 30'. I feel like we stole 2 points, even though it was ours to lose.

Great turn of results though. I'm hoping rock bottom has been reached in the US Open Cup loss, and it's all uphill from here.

Damn y’all weren’t kidding about UefaCL. This Madrid v City match (watching a replay) is … like ballet.

    Nice day for a game.

Looking forward to seeing what Sava and Julio can do to increase RSL's scoring and attack. RSL played relatively well for much of the match in stretches just not consistently.

I really think that Cordova is starting to find more ways to get into the game and from what I can see looks to be a player other players like to play with and he puts in the effort game in and game out. Either that or he is way better than Bobby Wood in faking hustle.

Watching LA I could see why they have only scored 10 goals so far this season and only given up 7. A very good and boring team. Even with Chicha-Karen-arito on their team. They guy whines more than any player since Peyton Manning. Whaaaa.

When Marcelo scored and took off his jersey for the automatic yellow I was only worried for a minute. They guy has been solid all year and I really don't expect him to get anything but better. I mean for crying out loud it's only the second yellow he has earned all season. Knock on wood. Silva and Glad could end up one heck of a tandem back there.

So wanted that shot from Wood to curl in but fingertips.

Watching the replay on the called back goal from LA I would take that every time even it it went the other way.

All in all up until the goal from RSL I thought that RSL was the better team by a smidge. After the goal RSL reverted back into a shell and couldn't get out of their own third and LA away from the box. I did like Pablos comments about that after the game and I will be watching to see if RSL improves in getting themselves out of similar situations moving forward.

MacMath with a good game again is comforting.

Lots to be happy about and still so much concerning as well. I hope that regardless they keep finding ways to get valuable points.

If that offside got called against us I’d argue the defender wasn’t going to get to that ball and that the bump was hardly anything

    but it was LAG

    so I’m fine

Meh, if he's not gonna get to the ball don't touch him, especially coming from an offside position. Bonehead move and if the situation were reversed I'd be upset at at our guy. Really it was two bonehead moves canceling each other out as Herrera should have let that ball go harmlessly out of play.

I said as much earlier. I don't think Glad gets that ball. If Williams had been onside but did the same exact thing to Glad, the goal would have stood I bet. The combo of being offside and the touch that prevented Glad from jumping put it over the edge for VAR this time. It could have gone the other way easily.

    thats fair
though when I've watched it back I don't think the LAG player as much runs into Glad, but Glad's retreat and the other players run just happen to overlap slightly.

I'm also 100% confident Glad is not getting that ball, bump or no bump.

After watching the broadcast I think RSL got hosed on two non-calls just outside the LAG box. One on Cordova in the first half and then Rubin in the 2nd half. I don't see how either of those weren't fouls and although they were outside the box they both would have been dangerous opportunities. I can comfortably say that we deserved the 3 points.

Fully agreed. Two missed calls in dangerous spots. Honestly outside of that, it felt really well reffed.

How is his service on corners as good as it has been but on dead balls from fouls so poor?
