So basically Mexico controls it’s own destiny if they win by 4 goals. As unlikely as this seems, this has to be the objective for the team. if we don’t see a sense of urgency from the team to try to accomplish this then you really can’t blame that on Martino. These are pros playing for pride and country. Maybe Argentina will crush Poland and lower the goal differential, or maybe Poland will shock Argentina and open the door. Either way, the objective has to be 4 goal win, nothing else.

 

The more I think of it the more I can see Poland upsetting Argentina. They really didn’t look great versus us so much as we looked like dog shit. I think their keeper will frustrate the hell out of them
