I think one of the biggest issues right based on interviews is the lack of team cohesion and coaching staff dynamics. Couple that with injuries on 2 of our 3 up front attackers with one of those injuries being life threatening/altering and Lozano’s mindset knowing that he has sustained a somewhat serious injury en every recent call up. We have to give Hirving Lozano credit because given his recent injuries in all of the recent call ups, he always gives it his best even if his aim was off in this last match. Mexico wasn’t and isnt qualified but let’s make sure we line up a molero in the USA. In the Honduras match, expect more of the same. Honduras isn’t playing for anything except looking for that spoiler vs Mexico given their disdain for Mexico fut. I would possibly start a different lineup. Why? If we end up being dependent on the results of the last match for all of CONCACAF, and Honduras does what Honduras does (patadas etcétera) and one of our starters sustains a serious injury during that Honduras match, we are going to need the match of Mexico’s octagonal
Any word on the lineup? Hope they keep the backline the same, just make a few changes in the mid and forwards
