Ito is in the Team of the Week against Dortmund. This is his 3rd time. He plays a worldclass season till now.

Hiroki Ito is pure quality and Moriyasus Nr. 1 is these gaps for a player from a calibre like Ito. Dont know if Japan ever had a CB/LB this good over those long time before (Despite Tomiyasu of course).

They are many rumours that Ito can join an top club.

This season he is again, one of the best CB/LB of the Bundesliga and still has pontential to go even further. This guy is incredible the last 3 years and still so average for JNT. Moriyasu has a lot to do.

    He makes almost no mistakes.

Stuttgarts coach also says a Ito is a worldclass defender and he will join a absolutely top club.

Lets see. I hope he will stay 1 more year at Stuttgart and gets his first steps in the CL.

Ito to Bayern Munich is almost done. Fee should be around 30 Mio. One of the biggest deals for a defense player in the Bundesliga history.

CB/LB I guess. He was like the last 2 years one of the best CB/LBS of the Bundesliga.

But lets see what Bayern has in mind. But for 30 Mio € you can guess, big things.

Wow, these kind of news spread fast. As expected of a big club, in a few hours everyone is talking about it.

Interested to see how Kompany use him

Bayern said today they plan to use him as a LCB and also as a LB.

Its of course a risk to join Bayern nowadays, cause they are very chaotic at the moment and the pressure ist higher then in Stuttgart. But Hiroki Ito is one of the most quality players Japan ever has till now. This season he has 2-3 bad games in the hole season, the rest was awesome. Same like the last 2 years.

The problem when he played for Japan is (again) Moriyasu and his system. And to be fair Ito hasnt that much games for Japan. To compare a handfull Japan games to his huge amount of Stuttgart games where he was very good, is difficult.

I'll close this topic since Chase is the only left and he's not really yet part of the big team.
Let's open a new one for him in case.

We need a new thread for Anrie Chase, who made his Bundesliga debut this past weekend, and who will make his debut in the starting lineup today in the DFB-Pokal against Preußen Münster according to Sebastian Hoeneß. @Dax

Chase utterly dominated against an admittedly poor Münster side - he is simply too explosive, fast, and strong at this level, and his positioning and passing have improved markedly. The commentators on the DFB-Pokal world feed were falling in love with him, as were VfB fans on social media.

Chase get much much praised for his 2 performances for Stuttgart and coach said again that Chase get another promised start against Mainz.

Looks like he is for now in the starting line up. Looks like another Ito story.

Big chance for Chase tonight in Champions league will most likely get a start against Real Madrid. We’ve certainly gotta make sure the USA don’t try persuade him, get him in the national team now. Huge future think he has killed his first few Bundesliga starts from what I’ve heard

In for 30 minutes, European debut in Bernabeu.
He looked lost on the field on the 10 first minutes he played.
Played as a right midfielder on a 3/5 defenders system. Got eaten by Vinicius when he first faced him.

Then it went ok and he had a decent game. He touched the ball many times, covered the field well. I didn't watch the game closely though

Anrie got quiet much praise for his performance, especially for taking Vinicius Jr. 1on1.

    His stats yesterday:

    • 27 minutes played
    • 17 touches
    • 83% pass accuracy (10/12)
    • 100% long ball accuracy (1/1)
    • 100% tackles won (1/1)
    • 1 ball recovery

More he cant to in this time, very promising.

    Stats, stats, stats,...

    Chase stats are also:

    • 0% key passes (0/0)
    • 0% dribbles stopped (0/2)
    • 30% gametime on the field (27'/90')
    • 67% goals conceded when on the field (2/3)
    • 100% points lost when on the field (3/3)

Some may also say that he was nowhere to be seen on Endryck's counter goal, and he was marking nobody on the corner which led to Rudiger's goal, despite being among the tallest of his team.

Just to say that misused/out of context stats are garbage.

That’s what I always try to explain to this guy, you’ve got to watch the games to actually get a gage not stats

Everytime i post stats, of course I watched the game ^^. But nontheless for me stats are almost everything in football.

And I only say that Chase get much praise from the german commentators who are more or less experts or still active footballer like Kramer from Gladbach and they were full of praise at and after the game for Chase.

I only said what they said. Thats all. Dont get the pressure or anger ^^. Chase did a very solid Job.

If you want to use stats. Maybe you need to take the all the stats . Not only the positive ones. Its better watching the game .

Again, I almost always watch the games ^^.
And I dont post only positive ones? Which stats you can post more about CB then I have ? Chase was respectable against Vinicius, and shut him down as good as you could in a 1on1. Especially when you consider his age and that he played 1st league football since 4-5 games.

That was the stats, they official released, I dont pick up out some good ones or negative ones. I make copy and paste, thats all. I dont get the discuss ^^. I dont want to convince. I only say that the german comentators/tv experts for example like Christoph Kramer who is still an active player and a former Gladbach player + former nationalplayer for Germany praised him for his cameo, thats all.

For example he gets also quite solid ratings here in Germany.
