Hope you're all right with your optimism. Ok, he was watching the game vs England with Endo, Kubo and the injured guys, so that's a positive sign. Not calling him up after a year though still makes no sense. Anyway, we'll see.

Osako? Not only for the PKs, that was just the most obvious reason. He also still was a perfectly fine player, despite all the hate he got here at the time.

Starts like usual, scored the equalizer ! Sadly they messed it up in the very dying seconds to lose 1-2 (shortly after Morita get subbed out) + they missed a penalty + conceded a harsh penalty cause Morita got it on his hand.

Morita is full in form I would say, he is getting heat for the WC.

Yup! But I hope they would not consider playing for any Saudi club or any club in the Gulf States for that matter.

Looks like only to rest him. By the way, his assist yesterday was superb. A joy to watch.

Mourinho also has him on his list for Real..
If he fails to make the Japan squad but joins Real Madrid that would be something...

Yeah but now that the selection is close I'm worried about it.
If Endo and Fujita are both selected is there a spot for Morita?

As a squad player i think so. Its weird to think that a player that played a Champions league quarter final a month ago aint good enough for the Japanese squad.

And is Fujita really a better player than Morita?

There is no way Endo will be selected. I really really doubt there is 1% Chance for Endo to make it. Why should he ? Is there any info about that ?

Fujita is insane I would say, I almost watched every game from St Pauli this season and he is really really good but you cant compare him to Morita, totally different player type.
Morita is actually close to his prime and he is a must have for the JNT. That would also give JNT the option to let Kamada play as a No. 10 when needed like in his past in Frankfurt.

That's the thing... If Kamada and Sano start then the rest will all be squad players. So does he want both Morita and Endo on the bench? He might see Fujita as the high energy risk-taker if they are chasing a goal, and Endo as the closer if they are winning. So not really who is better but who fits the situation. But if Kamada is used in a more advanced role without Mitoma/Minamino then I say Morita for sure.
Or maybe he'll take all of them, but then are they sacrificing attacking options?
    I'm probably over-thinking it, lol.

I dunno I'm looking at a lot of predictions and they seem to include Endo. Apparently Slot said he returned to training already so they think with one month he will be ready. And he is the captain and the one guy trusted to do a job even coming back form injury.

Looks like the Real Madrid rumours are real, after sources they are already contact from club to player. Definitely go for it. Nothing to lose and I think he could be a good squad or maybe a starter there. The quality is there, depends on the tactic and idea the new coach and club have.

For me is on same level like Endo or Sano and those players can play at every club as a starter but it depends on what you want and need. Morita is superb in his CDM Role + he has here and there some assists and goals. He would be a player who not complain, and also would be okay to sit on the bench sometimes. And who knows, maybe he will make it there. At his age ? Maybe he is the key Madrid need to come back in line? Go for it.

Madrid is a toxic club lead by their master Mbappe. Hate it. But of course its flattering to get this rumours. And now that Mourinho may their new manager he can get things under control.

I seriously rather see him in Leeds though.

Yeah that's true but I would say give it a try but if course he should have plenty of others better choices to go.

Mourinho is the one that wants him, watching him play in Portugal, obviously. He tried to bring him to Turkey as well.
