I think we all knew deep down that he was going to do well, he had teioh's blessing.

Its very likely that he will score around 20 goals. Crazy story.

I can't find good highlights of Ueda's games. What kinds of goals does he score?

3 mins played and Ueda is scoring again. He is back on track to fight for the top scoring trophy in the belgium league.

******** off, after 4 minutes of checking, the goal is disallowed.

Scored again. A brace, half time now. 17 goals now and 2 goals behind the top scorer on place 2.

Would be so nice of Ueda and Furuhashi managed to get this trophy.

Ueda scored, and after he missed a penalty soooo sad. Otherwise he would be Topscorer now. He need to score one more.

Sadly Ueda didnt scored again, but his team won and qualified for european qualification. Ueda finished in place 2 with 18 goals. Still a great season. And play off round ist starting now. Place 1 finished with 20 goals.

A penaly you also have to score. Look at the WC 2022, almost 35% of all penaltys was missed.

Ciro Immobile won Golden Shoe mostly thanks to pks. And it seems JNT lacks good penalty takers. Anyway Ueda was terrible against Costa Rica. I thinik this is his top and is not enough.

Ueda looks like a solid PK taker. And he has 20 goals so far this season. I think thats huge. Belgium league has developed a lot the last 3-4 years. A very solide league.

And man, 20 goals is a word, a big one. And there are still a few games to go. Even Suzuki and Ito didnt manage to do this, and thats with better teams on paper.

I think Ueda can become a good prospect for JNT and can play in one of the top 4 leagues. And I mean not like a 2 goals per season Asano Style. Ueda can become a player who can score 10+ goals in those leagues.

And to be fair, against Costa Rica every player was horrible, from GK to Striker.

Scored! 23 goals this season. Insane.

I would say its even more impressing than Furuhashis season. Ueda maybe showed almost nothing for the JNT yet but he plays in a stronger league in a weaker team then Kyogo + his first season in europe and he directly scored 23 and was second in the top scorer list.

Absolutely no shame for Furuhashis performance, I am really sure he is the better player and played also a monster of a season but Ueda this year for me is flying soooo deep under the radar cause he played a awesome season.

Well he totally failed at WC. I think he need to do something remarkable at Asian Cup.

    He didn't fail.
He got 45' against Costa Rica, where Moriyasu's brilliant game plan was: no risk, no risk, no risk, no playable balls for any forward. That's a failure by Moriyasu, not by Ueda.
