Hehe yeah. Doan plays so far, the best season of his career I would say. He was always good but now he is even better.

Looks like Eintracht Frankfurt is really interested in Doan. Would be a huge an great move.

Freiburg is also a good team but Frankfurt is some steps ahead.

Doan was incredible today on top of great season till now, maybe his best Bundesliga game ever. The german commentator really praised him through out the whole game.

What else is impressive, is his more and more defensive qualitys/awareness to win balls back like at the 4-0.

It seems that Bayern's Ito will be the german version of Arsenal's Tomiyasu for the years to come.

He means, that Ito will be a starter here and there (CB/LB) when he is fit, means a very useful and highly rated player of the club. Hopefully not with Tomiyasus injury history ^^.

 

Doan to Freiburg ist getting more and more likely. After sources, Doan told his current club, he want to go to Frankfurt next season and Frankfurt ist willing to pay as much as needed to get him. They said, the will go "all in" to get Doan.

Sounds very very good for me. Would the the best club for him and on the other side maybe there is room for another japanese player at Freiburg, like Keito Nakamura ?

Not the biggest step yeah but Frankfurt is aiming every year for Champions League/Europa League. At the end it's often Europa League but they are without doubt in the race for Germany's Top 3-4 together with Leipzig in a long term way.

Especially in Germany you feel Frankfurt is way bigger then Freiburg and they are bigger not only a little step. Frankfurt is the ideal club in terms of potential, fans, familiar and friendly feeling, very good staff and employes and not to forge the money. Frankfurt is a very rich club and are willing to pay for more top players. They getting better year per year. When things are not going bad they will become a more or less sure CL club in compare to Leipzig.

I see your point and I am thinking the same way, that Freiburg is also a good club and Frankfurt is not that much higher but at the end there is a difference and it's not that small. Perfect club for Doan to become even better.

 

Bigger club in that regards yes. But a big move for him would be a team like Dortmund or Leverkusen.

 

Frankfurt is the last 2-3 years very close to Dortmund, especially in some parts of the league, not the whole season. But this season they are by far better then Dortmund. They are coming closer and closer to overcome them. Sure Dortmund overall is still bigger, CL Final last season, better league places etc.

But in Germany, Frankfurt is close on the edge to teams like Frankfurt and Dortmund and that's not unrealistic, they are not far from them. Eintracht Frankfurt has a huge standing here. Maybe the doesn't shine as much outside from Germany but they are a "big" club. In Frankfurt, Doan can become a international star. I would say from all clubs in Europe, Frankfurt is one of the best clubs to play for.

But I totally know what you mean but I think Doan needs a team which has a warm an friendly field.
