Yeah that's true but I don't think they are competitors. Machino is a 2nd supporting striker or false 9. He is in competition with Neuhaus or Honorat. The next weeks will be interesting.

Yeah that's right, but it was a hard start for him and the club but then he and the team have some awesome games. Sadly exactly in the time we're he gets a rest cause of the average performances. And now other are ahead of him cause why you should change the team ? In the second half after Takai and Machino comes in the game was completely changing. The conceded only 1 and scored 1.
Of course maybe Hoffenheim was taking it a bit lower after leading 4-0 but definitely they were way better with our 2 japanese players on the pitch. My guess is, both will start. next game.

Thomas Frank sacked, Takai won't have much to look forward to club wise at the end of the season unless he moves. It doesn't matter which manager they get because Tottenham are a badly run club.

 

I don't know what happened but according to twitter Takai dropped a blunder against Frankfurt today. It can be expected because he's early into his career but the WC may be too soon for him

 

Nono it was no real blunder, I watched the game and the commentators also said it was nothing special but it looks a little dumb. Kaua Santos was playing a long ball and Takai want to control the ball, but was a little to slow/to far away and couldn't handle the ball rightly, from behind rushed Ansgar Knauf and stole Kota the ball. It was a mistake but nothing crazy, he is young and overall he made solid game what the german commentators also said.

But of course it looks unlucky and of course his ratings doesn't look that good then.
