Veerman 1-0. Beautiful assist and finish

 

Pretty even first half. PSV took a lead after a very strong build-up and sweet finish by Veerman.... Veerman had another good chance after a well-worked corner kick. Monaco could (should) have scored in the final minutes of the half, but GK Benitez came to a rescue. PSV need to be really tight in the backline. Obispo is a suspect at times. Really like Sangare and his toughness, but he's on a yellow and sometimes he dwells on the ball way too long. Luuk De Jong is utterly useless upfront. Also, didn't see much of Til today except for his funny collision with the referee

 

Monaco looking dangerous! PSV need another goal for sure.

This is too big of a stage for psv at this point.

 

Same old mistake again: I was not sold on Schmidt, but to replace him with some former footballer is the classic error by now
