Benfica as Juve found out, might be worse than you on the paper, but better than you on the field. Either game is tricky in their own way
I was thinking about it brother, and I have come to the conclusion that it might be because it is an impressive team, believe it or not. The fact that we can face some teams only does in the next stage does not necessarily mean that we cannot talk about other teams. Furthermore, we can meet with Benfica later on...
Actually, there could be some truth to this. The south always had great minds , scholars and a great deal of professionals. A lot of my relatives from Calabria became doctors , lawyers and judges as well as professors. Many migrated north to lend their expertise and they continue to do so today.
The Stadium of Light is the most scariest one in the world for sure. I am a Fener fan as well. I still have nightmares from 12/13 EL semi final game.I still remember what have i felt while watching that game lol
I caught some of the game between Frankfurt and Werder. Muani will be a difficult man to contain. The fans can raise the roof too. If we play organized and keep our nerve, we should get something positive, even if it's just a draw. IMO, they will be a challenge.
Agreed. This year we actually are really great as a team and we have big stars in our team, 2 actually. Would have been a waste.
I'm nervous for tomorrow. It will be humiliating for us and Serie A if we don't get at least to the final 8
Yes, they are good team, very similar to us I think. Frankfurt coach says his players have goosebumps and are "hot like chip fat" to play this game. https://www.france24.com/en/live-ne...rankfurt-ready-for-napoli-in-champions-league Spalletti says he has to give the reindeer their milk, then we can see if we can unwrap the presents tomorrow or not. https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/ser...ne-poi-vediamo-se-scarteremo-i-regali-1794870
I would give us an outside chance of actually winning the UCL, but it will depends on our players being able to play with the kind of confidence that belies their inexperience. The players cannot let the occasion get to them and cannot let the noise of the fans affect them. I think in Spalletti we have a manager who knows how to do this, but it has gone all horribly wrong for him in the past when he overestimated himself (e.g., Roma losing to Man U 7-1). I don't fear that though. I believe Spalletti has learned his lessons and is now one of the game's greatest managers.
Great half. Frankfurt were very good in the early stages. They weren't giving Lobotka any room to breath. We were good at just figuring them out. If we can't pass our way in, we need to get behind them. Lozano has been a menace to them. The more they will push to tie it the more space they will leave us.
Lobotka eventually got into it and after the 2 or 3 misplaced passes and he's back to his usual brilliance.
