Can't say they had an easy draw. Impressive. I wish we could watch our team go on such journies again.

To go on such journeys, one needs ambition.

As much as I disliked Bradley as a club coach and MNT coach, he has coached this team differently. You can only coach with what you have..

So we're starting these threads early now... I'm not convinced this wasn't the doing of the board's mod.

I’m hearing Columbus is getting a white and grey away kit. Can’t imagine ours will be much different.

That Olympiakos team is interesting; for who likes rugby, a WDC team is also starting playing, https://oldglorydc.com/, first two games are in Springfield, the rest at Segra Field in Leesburg, where Loundoun Utd plays.

News of last week that surprised me, Trinity, daughter of Dennis Rodman was drafted by the Washington Spirit.

In the same league of Olympiakos there is also a Germantown City FC. I interpret the denomination "City FC" as a provocation, and I will not go see this team!

Seattle's Jordan Morris is reportedly going on loan to Swansea. Should team owner Jason Levien make a play for him to play with DCU under our new, attack-minded head coach?

I've seen their street signs of "affordable!" "high-level!" soccer once in Fairfax/Lee Highway. At first I thought how could someone license Olympiacos name and logo but it appears they're related to the actual team in Greece.

Yes they are, basically it's some sort of US Academy for their club. Probably a good idea for the future.

You really have to follow Pablo's twitter feed. There is some funny shit there about Lampard being fired, including the Bernie meme.

Goff just announced Loudoun signed a two-way mid from Sacramento Republic name of Drew Skundrich (Andi Sullivan's husband). Fortune smiles, sounds like he'll be a good addition.

Paul played 35 or so minutes today as Swansea lost to ManCity. He apparently had a hockey assist.

Jordan Morris stretchered off in Swans game today. Left knee in a brace, will be evaluated later.

Awful. Hope he has a speedy recovery. Sadly looks like his last match at Swansea.

Sucks for him - hope it isn't his ACL. The Championship is just one step removed from Thunderdome. Ask Benny.

Yep, apparently an awkward touch while dribbling, no defenders around him.

Anyone have any data (if it exists) whether those types of non-contact injuries are the product of earlier, often non-detected tears/traumas?
