Notes from the first half since I wasn’t able to watch it all Final 1T@LaSelecta_SLV 1-1 EcuadorCarcelén cabeceó solo para el gol rival, no llegó RR.Buen gol de Villalobos de tiro libre para el empate.Hemos sufrido por izquierda.Ecuador ha sido mejor.Romero tapó una clara.Calvillo y Herrera fantasmas.Joshua no marca.— Carlos López Vides (@celvides) December 5, 2021
Nice goal from villalobos, Wow is he really 1,93 m? that what is say on transfermarkt. thats a tall salvadorian lol https://www.transfermarkt.us/romulo-villalobos/profil/spieler/532309
That would make him one of our tallest Salvadoran players, along with Steve Purdy and Derby Carrillo who are both also 193cm tall.

He really didn’t need to do much in this game until those last bits, they skirted with danger earlier when it hit the post and bounced in front of goal.
That Chile goal was at the death, it really sucked the whole stadium got quiet lol Landaverde is what Ceren should be. And he’s much younger, it’s crazy. Would love to see more of Gil at the ST role. Also, Walker is extremely underwhelming. Jairo stole the show like always, there was always 3/4 Chileans on him so he couldn’t move. We gotta get better at set pieces, both sides of the ball. And we NEED a striker, god please tell me there’s someone with ES eligibility that can shoot the ball
This is something that should be pursued more. Circulan rumores que algunos equipos de @primerafutboles estan siendo llamados para que voten por un candito determinado para la presidencia de La Liga. Caso contrario no les prestaran estadios propiedad del INDES o adminitrados por alcaldias. Mañana se reflejara en la eleccion.— Carlos Aranzamendi (@caranzamendi) December 22, 2021 Sounds like the Bukele’s trying to meddle. If FIFA were made aware of this heads would roll.
Santa came bearing good news. Brayan Gil Hurtado has finally gained his Salvadoran passport, becoming eligible for La Selecta in January. FESFUT is also in the process of naturalising Alianza forward Mitchell Mercado, originally from Colombia.
