A win here could steer the ship after all that CCL, but honestly the next three over the next week are all winnable. Hopefully we can rotate some people in and out.
Loss. They will be riding high on their CONCACAF result and won't have the emotional energy to get points. Starting next week, they will begin to mentally realign themselves and focus on MLS.
No squad rotation. I guess Curtin really wants to get some points in the league right now. Hopefully Bedoya’s tired legs won’t fall off his body.
Think we are going to see Burke and Kasper up top a few games. Santos may not have headbutted but he definitely went upside the head and I'm surprised he didn't get a red right away. Likely at least 2 games watching from the shrimp deck with Martinez. Gotta put away some of those early chances. Let a bad team stay in it too long. A better team scores before the Union and parks the bus and the Union can't get thru. Happy with the win but should have been easier.
Should have been easier??? The Union were in control this whole game, same as they were against Miami. Flach looks good in the 6. McGlynn didn't look out of place. Burke is improving. I doubt Santos will be suspended, and if he is it'll be for one game. The rest of this week and month is huge. 3 out of the next four at home, need to maximize points.
