How could the York United FC Saturday be even better?
Well they won their CPL game but one of their U-Sport draft picks scored and had an assist in League1 Ontario, Unionville Milliken SC won their Saturday night's game over Masters FA, York's first Voyageurs Cup foe.
Hear UM head coach Peyvand Mossavat praise Christopher Campoli and Daniel Rafisami.

How could the York United FC weekend be even better? part 2 If you had a League1 Ontario post match interview with Woodbridge Strikers head coach Peter Pinizzotto and ask him about former youth players Isaiah Johnston and Lowell Wright.

He also answers what it was like to coach Diego Maradona for the one time exhibition game when he played for Toronto Italia.

If anyone gets a chance in MLS next year, it’s got to be Abzi.

Joao Morelli now the top scorer in the CPL, he'd likely be MVP if Wanderers were better. . Josh Heard has been great lately. Joe Mason has been a proven goal scorer.

Young players that I've been impressed with as the seasosn goes on: Max Ferrari, Garven Metusala, Woobens Pacius.

Went to Valour vs Forge today in Winnipeg. Great day, great goals and great atmosphere.

Aside from Edmonton market, CPL is looking good, post COVID bounce back. I keep hearing about 2 new teams next year too, fingers crossed.

Pacific FC from Vancouver Island are Canada's Champions!

They defeat the 2 times champions Forge FC 1-0 in Hamilton to capture their 1st championship

They will represent Canada in the 2022 CONCACAF League!

The 25 years old Brazilian striker Joao Morelli has won the Golden boot with 14 goals representing the Halifax Wanderers

The league's level of play has increased and impressed, this is just the beginning

I think the league needs a shot in the arm for next year.

They have to find a way to increase salaries. They just have to..

Clubs that have struggled at the bottom of the table need results next year. 3 years of stinking in a 7-8 league is tough for any fan base.

Hope we see a new team actually start in the league for 2023.

Better scheduling and no crowd restrictions should help a ton

It is going up, they had already announced that the cap was going up for 2022

That's every league's struggle. Forge set the bar to what the rest of the league should aspire too.

Pacific was there until losing Bustos, Cavalry was always there.

Valour has potential, they were playing much better after the change of coach

York United changing coach might be exactlywhat they needed. Their 2 Argentinians that were on loan should be back, on paper, they should be much stronger than they showed.

Halifax needs to clean house, midfield and forwards except Rampersad and Morelli all need to go. Defense and goals might be ok.

FC Edmonton, Ongaro and Didic are the only untouchables.

    Metro Vancouver.
Saskatoon seems to be back on track according to the commissioner this weekend.

I hope the continued success of the national team spills over just a bit to the CPL. I give all leagues in all sports an attendance pass on the last two seasons. This year, however, things have to start getting back toward normal. For the CPL that will mean starting to grow the crowd sizes.

Until they start to grow their revenues, the only way that happens is for the owners to take larger losses. We know they can and we assume they are willing to for a few more years anyway.

I'd love for it to be two teams to maintain an even number for scheduling purposes.
