Wait, wait, wait…. There is no way you can categorize the fans and the media in the same bucket. The media, especially the Mexican “media “ are a bunch of fk-ing vultures/buitres. The fans, they pay their tickets and/or their subscription to watch their National team and it’s ok to want your national team to win. Even amongst the fans, there are levels. You have the diehards, the casuals and those that know the World Cup is played every so often.
No, spare me the BS. Fans aren't saints and their trashing of those teams is a big part of it. Fans who now are all against the Gold Cup, are the same ones who would trash Mexico if they lose and Martinolli and company tell them to do so.It's not just fans in the sadium and even the, just like the chant and all the problems they bring is because of them.
No vato, I see your point and to some extent, I agree. Although every fan is not the same either and most rational people would agree. The fans behind the goal are not the same as those friends and families who try to enjoy the match. The barras, the ultras etcétera…I am just saying that those that works 40-50 hours plus a week and pay their hard earned money are not the same as the buitres with a microphone spouting crap on tv. All the ones you are thinking of are the exact ones I mean. All of them.
Nope, those fans who work 40 and 50 hours a week and paid their money to watch Mexico last night did the chant that brought and is going to bring Mexico nothing but problems. They aren't to be excused just for being hard working.
We all feared another Raul Jímenez injury. Glad it wasn't that bad. I haven't rewatched the video of the injury but it looked like Chucky impacted more with his eyebrow rather than directly with the temple. If he would have impacted the keeper's knee with his temple it could have been much worse.
We will just disagree that fans and the media are not one. even if I think you are using a huge brush to paint every fan as one
You're doing the typical "it's not this it's the other" that is used to excuse people all the time. From politicians, cops and now the media, it's always somebody else as if those people weren't doing what they are doing if there was no success in what they do or if they didn't come from somewhere.
Lozano is out of the Gold Cup and will be out 4 to 6 weeks. Although it's good news after what many people expected after the accident, it's not good news in that he's injured. As said, Martino tried to make it out to make up for losing the Nations League and now he has complicated himself and the team completely.
I wonder who can they call in to be Lozanos replacement. I know there was a 60 man squad, but most on that list are with Olympic team. I still don’t understand why we have injured Pulido with the team.
True. I see no issue with Alvarez, but we do need a backup wing player. Other than Orbelin who is more of a CM, we have no attacking wing players or even a striker.
Chucky is made of iron. I've seen him take some brutal contact in Liga MX (although they were always to the legs) and he was always fine after a few weeks. We're all pretty lucky though.

Damn, Lozano looks fu*ked up. Basically got into the equivalent of a car accident face first in the dash. Martino has been given a second opportunity to do the right thing and call up Chicharito. Him and Funes Mori up top can do some damage. He won’t though.
Concacaf should let Mexico replace him, 10 mins into first game and he was lost for tournament. Especially given that piss poor ref
News Flash....the federation (of any NT) doesn't care what fans think. FAnS OverHYPe thE nT! Fans are stupid
