Hearing these announcers on TUDN though, you'd think that El Salvador won. Ok, they didn't get blown out, but you can never take pride in a loss.
Hugo Perez just outcoached Tata. Badly. His worst job as a coach so far. I have never understood why the CA teams don’t take it to Mexico like that more often. Full credit to El Salvador, the better team tonight. They are going to be a handful in the Octagon. And the Cusca is going to be fire. Looking forward to it.

Man, I get the whole CONCACAF team play their hearts out against Mexico, but I am getting really disappointed in Tara. He’s had the team a while and there isn’t really much of a difference as to how Mexico has been the past few cycles.
You do know that that Mexican media owns TU-DN, who in turn work with SUM. TU-DN and SUM get a glimpse of the crowd tonight and will all of a sudden make out El Salvador to be a powerhouse. Fill up the stadiums etc.. you know the MO
El Salvador was really amped up. Even Mauricio Cienfuegos recognized that this was a very important game for them. Still, this was a disastrous showing by Mexico in the second half.
Everyone is blaming the defense but the midfield was far worse. No hustle, lazy passes, almost no dangerous passes, no linkup with the attack, slow to defend, etc.
the Mexicans abroad section of this board is pretty depressing these days. seems like 10 years ago, we thought things were heading in the right direction, more players going to europe, players w big teams. now? [emoji2375] seeing the u.s. passing us by with some real athletes on important teams is rough. It starts with the ownership of league teams. bunch of clowns. very few functional development academies. we no longer play libertadores, copa suda americana, copa america. no real measures for comparison. all the while teams fielding a mediocre product and laughing to the bank.
El Salvador only had that poste. Remember, if you (CONCACAF teams) are not goleado by Mexico and only lose by one or two, it’s a win.

La liga se alejó de CONMEBOL, y se está acercando a los dólares de la MLS, y se conforman ganando CONCAMIERDA para tener la oportunidad de jugar un partidito contra el campeón de la Champions en Diciembre. También el recambio en defensa urge pero no va a llegar sino hasta el próximo ciclo. Moreno ya está pasado, y Araujo y Salcedo son simplemente centrales sólidos y hasta ahí.
I think there was a moment of stagnation when players weren’t making the jump to Europe, but a lot of wind was taken out of El Tri faithful when Rulas picked up that injury. He was a key player for the actual National team and for Mexicans to get their names out there. Say what you will about cheech but Mexicans doing well in the Premier League does wonders for Marketing.
This forum is starting to get exhausting.... I’ve just scrolled through all the posts and it’s just puro hate... hate, hate, hate.... I know Mexico didn’t do too well, I’m not happy with their performance either... but come on People are criticizing every little thing; as if they could do better.... it’s exhausting So much negativity.... hate beats positivity in the forum 5 to 1.... Lighten up you guys.... I know El Tri didn’t do too well, but give em a break(sometimes lol) I’m kinda annoyed with the game too( we use to beat teams like this 8-0) Credit to El Salvador tho, they played good. Had some nice plays, just couldn’t finish. We gotta shape up for the next games or else we’re in big trouble.... With a team like this; on paper we should be cruising
