Of course I want them to win but with current play as it is I'm not too optimistic. At the very minimum can we just score the first goal to keep it interesting?

CA has won their last four. But they play on Sunday night so maybe a few knocks would be helpful

Trap game for them? Maybe they think they will kill us and only bring the "B" team. Our only chance.

I'm trying to get a paper ticket for this match for my collection. If you will have one after the game, please PM me (compensation available).

There are no paper tickets. The Union is all digital now.

so just spitballing here - if regulation ends 3-1 for the good guys, is the game over on Away goals? Or we going to extra time?
I know, I'm being very optimistic.

    In that case, CA advances.

Maybe this is the moment the Union turn the season around...

    Not that I am hopeful.

I attended a match a couple of months ago and bought a paper ticket at the box office. So I'm hoping they're still printing tickets.

Waiting for Tannenwald's piece about how this game proves that Liga MX is about as close to the English premier league as MLS is to the Albanian 3rd division.

This loss hurts way more than I expected it to. It could have been 2-2 and going to PK’s if only Glesnes and Monteiro had scored when they should have! The 80%/20% America/Union fan ratio in the stadium was tough to swallow, especially after America scored, although the SOB’s and Union fans gave a spirited effort. Ownership and management has not committed to the excellence needed to compete in CCL (or MLS for that matter), and I’m getting tired.

I'll say this as a positive to the night, there was a tremendous amount of staff/security there.

We pressed - they sat back. We had some chances and didn't convert.

And I'll assume Monteiro is the PK king at practice, that's why he took it? But man, why not Bedoya? That seems like a spot for the capt to step up.
Right before the PK a CA player came from the bench with some info for Ochoa.
Is it possible CA had a scouting report for Monteiro?
