    Added Shinta to the thread. This kid worked his ass off and again he started on the first game of the season. Even though Ao might steal his place he's done well: I don't need to tell you what is the the % of kids who start from the U19 in a club and actually really end up being starters into the first team...

    Isn't Shinta playing as an attacking midfielder?

    I don't think Ao will take his place. They can play together.

    Fortuna played 4-3-3 in the first game, he was the right MF. I don't know the other two midfielders well enough to say if Ao will replace him or someone else honestly. Honestly I hope Ao is not played just in front of the defense.
    Last season he played in various positions - often as a right winger, actually.

    On that topic, I'd wait until he's called up "for real" honestly.

    What does the rules say, can he play for Germany u21 then for Japan nt?

    My recollection is FIFA updated the naturalisation rules last year:
    - Players who played U21 for one nation can opt to select another nation (this is for those who have parents or grandparents from the country they select) after age of 21 as long as they have not played in official tournament for the previous nation
    - Think this is how China naturalised Tyrias Browning as he had played for England U21 before

    For those who don't have blood relations to the country they select, have to stay in that country continuously for 5 years or more to be eligible (and have not played official tournament for previous nation).

    Someone feel free to correct me if above info is wrong

    ? He's played plenty of matches, to be honest I've seen him only a couple of times so no idea how he's done but, evidently, well enough.

    Uchino hit a nasty injury. Fortuna wrote that he'll be absent for a few months.
    Sucks because he was good in the AFC U23.
