I don't expect much as I feel he was already near his ceiling, but would be pleasantly surprised.

How many games are you waiting? We are talking about Ligue 2 also.

I think it's wrong to get some conclusions after some weeks. You need at least half a season, otherwise we're just putting useless pressure on Onaiwu.

Surely Ligue 2 isn't better than J. League, but that's not an equivalence.

Lets see. He is starting also, so I was expecting at least one goal.
You have to deliver in Europe, specially as a asian player.

Second division football in Europe is very physical compared to top division.

Among the top countries' second divisions in Europe French is one of the toughest physically. Obviously, it is tougher physically than German and Spaninsh second divisions for example.

It seems Ado Onaiwu is struggling to adapt to the physicality of the league and needs some time to adapt. One positive thing is that he is starting every match so far even if he is not scoring or assisting.

I will begin to worry if he did not deliver after mid-season.

Sure what I mean is, he will not start so much longer if he does not deliver. The other striker Healey already scored 3.

It is not. We are still in August. European competitions are still in their first month. Not to mention the adaptation issue.

With all of this being said, no need to worry, especially after scoring his first goal today. Pressure is off.

Well done Ado! He had some detractors for his rather slow start to the season but he is picking up some good form now.

    What a movement.

this is probably the worst testament of Moriyasu's work: we have an era where you could count on Furuhashi, Onaiwu, Ueda and Suzuki, and none of those four is starting at all.
