He might be called back to Brighton this winter, as he already collected enough points to grant him a UK work-permit through his time in Belgium:

I've just realized now. They play Anderlecht today and they're leading the table by a landslide!

I know Belgium has a ridiculous format, but... are they on the verge of playing UCL as newly-promoted? Winning the league grants you a ticket to the Group Stage!

    Congrats to nr 1 spot.
Now they will play the Champions league round with Club Brugge, Antwerpen and Anderlecht. 6 games each.

Hope Mitoma gets a chance to prove himself in pre season. I think he could play a big role for Brighton if he gets the chance. We’ve seen his Japans biggest threat for the national team over the past few months by a country mile. Hopefully Brighton have taken note specifically Graham Potter. Has the speed, the finishing and slowly improving his physicality game by game which will be much needed. And please play him in his position!

I hope so too. He could not have done anymore. And has been good for the NT also.

Potter (what a name) is going to coach Chelsea after they sacked Tuchel.

Who will be the new manager, maybe Mitoma will have more chance to take a spot in the starting 11.

Mitoma is still effective as a sub and if Trend Arnold from Liverpool still plays like this, I hope Brighton has some guts to sub Mitoma in for the 2nd half.

Came on and assisted Trossard's 3rd goal to tie it up.

But they didn’t credit him for the assist officially. I’m still not sure why.

They are probably saying it deflected off van dijk but looks like he just whiffed.
Anyway, everyone knows it was an assist just like everyone knows Hatate scored in the UCL.

Mitoma came off the bench last night again against Tottenham where the team lost 1-0

Mitoma impressed once again with his dribbling and a lot of Brighton fans are praising him on social media asking for him to start, even the manager praised him in his post match interview, saying he has the ability to start it's just a case of finding the right positions for each player as he can only start 11.

He needs more minutes. always a threat to score or create chances when he's on the pitch.

Mitoma is still on the bench.
De Zerbi is a propositive manager who loves players like Mitoma.
Let's hope he find a spot for him asap.

How serious? I read on Brighton forum that he can miss the WC.

Nothing is really out at the moment, I read that too but other sources said that he was playing the last minutes with his injury and that it is maybe not that serious.

Edit: They said he can play they next game normaly for Brighton, it was nothing serious. He was able to play with the pain and he is fine. Sounds good

Okay, he will miss todays match cause of the ankle injury but sounds more a safety thing then something serious. Cause they said, he is not hat fully fit. Expected him so play at the weekend.

I hope they will not rush this. As Minamino is falling apart in Monaco, we need him fully recovered 3 weeks after his come back.
