And due to that stupid 2nd yellow card, they've equalized. He knows that he's on a yellow card; what was he thinking committing such a risky move?!

 

Yeah.....not the best move. On other hand he scored but that was not clever.

 

I think the second yellow was harsh. Celtic fans spewing rage towards him.

A point was preserved at the end, thankfully. But I feel sorry for Reo.

Celtic were losing 2-0 at half time to Rangers, but thanks to the efforts of Hatate and Maeda, a penalty happened after Tierney cut the deficit down, and Hatate scored with some trouble. Rangers will be raging, but the draw hurts Celtic too. Still, Maeda and Hatate got us a point from a doomsday situation.

 

After quite some time, Maeda scores after the St. Mirren keeper thought what to do with the ball...for too long. Typical Maeda pestering caused a comical goal in the Cup semi-final, already in the 1. minute.

 

And Yamada also scored his first goal for his new club today.

 

And they conceded in the absolutely dying seconds to get to extra time......great.

Edit: Holy shit ! They started a 4 goals rage run in 6 minutes ^^, then. 6:2 ! Maeda assisted the 6-2.

 

I have a feeling Maeda should have left last season. When he was fantastic. Wonder what opportunities will show after this one. Not even close to last years numbers.

 

He want to leave, they were some Bundesliga clubs wo making a offer it seems but the club denied but on other hand you can understand those decision.

Voices said he is very down after this not happening move and I guess this is the reason for his only solid performances this season. He is not bad but no compare to last season. I don't think he doesn't give all, he always give no matter what's up but I guess psychological it's hard for him.

 

Today he was his old, beastly self, from 1. to the 120. minute. I just hope he isn't dead tired now, because next week is an even more important game - league points are up for grabs.

It's a dilemma where to put him. Could be LWB with his work rate, could be paired up with Ueda to destroy teams, plays across the front three, could be a sub...

Truly one of a kind man. SPFL Goal of the season awards are given before the season ends. Hyun-jun Yang's goal against Rangers in that 3-1 defeat under Nancy was great, and he scored again today, but Maeda's overhead kick goal is iconic. It will show up on any Old Firm reels in the future.

 

He needs to be a sub, this could be vital like hell to put on a Maeda on the 60-70th as a striker when teams get tired. I think this is really a game changer but yeah like you said maybe also to pair him up.

Ibrahimesque. Anyway I think he should be a starter with Ueda. Maeda + Ueda sound even good. Something like the Rice Field Duo. But I'm pretty sure Moriyasu will choose only 1 of them (imo Maeda) as a lone striker.
