Hatate has taken penalties before, and recently took the last one which he scored. Apparently he was going to take this one but the Roma players started to interfere to put Celtic off, the captain Mcgregor stepped in to break it up, and apparently Hatate backed out of taking the penalty after that. Very bizarre.
Bad news, Maeda told that he will stay at Celtic until the World Cup is over, means he will leave at the end of the season. Was hoping for a winter move. I understand what Maeda thinks and maybe it's clever but it would be so nice if he moves now to a good club and explode there with a huge motivation.
I think so, cause he said in an Interview, he don't want to risk his WC place before. I was hoping that he leaves in January but let's see, maybe does but sounds different.
Maeda assisted to put Celtic 1-0 up against Aberdeen, and forced a red card by running onto a loose pass from the keeper. I guess we might finally get a point or 3.
Nancy sacked, Martin O'Neill back until the end of the season. Inamura has been sold a few days before, sadly.
Yeah back to Japan, and with Nancy gone Shin is probably likely out of contention now too as Martin didnt even bench him
Martin O'Neill saying it was a move to Wolfsburg that fell through, for Daizen. If true, I'm actually gutted for him. Brentford are a no-name boring EPL side, Wolfsburg have history, and have won a Bundesliga title within living memory, with Yoshito Okubo having played in that side. Hasebe too, IIRC? If their interest is present now, I won't begrudge him a move. But if he keeps his word that he'll stay till summer, my heart will pump rainbow mints.
Hasebe actually won the Bundesliga title at Wolfsburg back in 2009. Wolfsburg is not faring well at the moment though (ranked 14th, mere 3 points ahead of the relegation playoff place).
