But why is Yamada totally left out ? In his start he was quite good and hungry ? He scored but ruled off by VAR. Same for Inamura, he was rock solid when he was playing.

So why bring in this new players and didn't give them a chance when they gave you the hint, they could be the fresh blood ?

It's the shitty transfer window that infected the team with pessimism. But Rodgers had said a season or two ago that his word is the last on every suggvested signing. So, he shouldn't dismiss Yamada and Inamura when the team is playing poorly. Maybe they can impress against Hearts.
