Very happy with the result so far especially missing so many key players and getting used to the managers style. I like what I am seeing and we have been deadly on the counter.

Still would like to see more from us when we have possession, but cant complain so far. Need to score a couple more and kill the game.

Is it me, or Bellingham has had a growth spurt? He looks taller.

Good first half for the start of the season. Except for a few minutes before and after our own goal, our depleted defense barely allowed anything but Kobel had to come out twice to clear long balls which were already the best way to get us into trouble in our cup game. I hope we keep controlling the game.

I saw the replay, Reus definitely got an assist there. Kobel to Reus to Haaland, no one else touched it!

I thought it came off the legs of the defender and Haaland stole it off his feet.

Thought Haaland touched it away from the defender as both went for ball after Reus’ flick on?

Reyna adds a goal to make it 4-1. Again great work down the centre from Dahoud, Haaland, Reus and of course Reyna.

Oh I was sure it would have been ruled outside... Reyna got lucky in the end as the ball magically appear at his feet with an empty goal!! And yet anther assist from Haaland!

I think that seals the game... I like how we are still hungry for more! I Hope Reus and Haaland would be subbed out to avoid injuries...

Good goal against Frankfurt's pressing. It seemed we struggled getting out of our own half until they found Dahoud to move out of the trouble.

Also, maybe he was lucky a few times, but Kobel's long passes are way more precise than what we were used to and helped to reduce the number of possession losses due to pressing. The last few seasons we got into this cycle of getting pressured and losing the ball fast.

good match all around. Hate they scored but it does appear more a fluke. Most of their chances have been cut out..

Maybe it passed very quick and my image quality over this stream look like 306p at most. But it looked to me as he got it before it touch the defender. Regardless Reus got the assist...

It’s funny to think that since losing 1-2 at home v Frankfurt on 3 April the team has been on fire, win today and it would be 10 straight wins (8 BL 2 Pokal).

Today the difference between the two teams is huge, even with a makeshift defence. Just shows the difference a properly balanced midfield can make.

That sideline ref really wants us to be offside!! He keeps calling every goal!
    Could be 6-1 !! 2 refused goal!
Oh wait 1 refused goal as I write 5-1!!!
2 goals 3 assist for Haaland!

Agreed, but hopefully we should have Brandt, Guerriero and Malen back for those games.

I think Bayern on Tuesday is going to be a great test of another kind. Bayern are probably kings of the wide positions and with the way we play that's our weakness.

OMG what a stupid player!! Steps right on his leg in a vulnerable position!!
Not intentional but very nonchalant and dangerous!!

+ They got 1 day's rest more and we keep Haaland playing needlessly (he almost got injured on the knee contact a few minutes ago)

It's early days and he has been well rested. I don't see a problem with anything.
