The salary listed could just be what’s given from the university, not the whole package and bonuses.

There are no bonuses these past two years for Wisconsin with Covid in fact they were forced to take furloughs. State schools have to list the full package online (that's why the previous few years have been more $$$ since it includes camp) unless they have a private funding source for their booster club and set up a separate private entity to fund the position. You will more likely see that for football/basketball or maybe in the South.

Answered it yourself. That was easy.

It’s not hard to find other sources for his salary. Here is one reporting his salary as $275,000+ in 2016. Not out of the possibilities for it to be over $300,000 now. And, that was done with 2 seconds and Google.

Yes. Very easy to find. There was no camp or bonuses last two years. Coaches had to take furloughs. That is why the salary listed in 2021 is MUCH less than those years. I'll post again.

Here is the last year with camp in 2019. $277K https://madison.com/news/local/educ...sation-2018-details/5e4eb6c4fdac56128c1dd13d/

Here is this past year without camp: $168K https://madison.com/news/local/educ...sation-2018-details/615f527dc57e3207211cdc72/

That does not mean monies didn’t come from elsewhere. They take furloughs to help the school, but they’ll be compensated.

This isn’t a mid-major who doesn’t have additional funds setup. But, whatever.

Uconn has a nice job description and you have to wonder if they really go by these things. For eg. what if you really liked a highly regarded young AC?
    .
Does that rule out --I doubt it-- Gbandi IDK? I would think LIU's Mike Mordocco, who played in Storrs (maybe with Gbandi) wants interview if he can get one. Also like Rob Dow at UVM who came up the hard way.

I would think that Marc Hubbard from UNH has to be on someone's very short list. D2 National Champion at SNHU and has just killed it at UNH. He meets all the requirements but as a New Hampshire native might be comfortable where he is.

Hubbard should be the first and last call UCONN makes. Proven winner at two divisions (you'd say other D2 winners have done pretty well at big D1s - Gunn, Grassie, Stratford). Has established UNH as best program in the Northeast ahead of ACC and Big East schools. His model for success is easily installed at UCONN.

It was just a matter of time before Brandt got back into DI, and it's a place that makes sense.

Wisconsin DID NOT have more money given to their head coaching position in the last two years from any source other than salary. Figure on $150K salary and $100K from camps to whoever gets the job. Camps also take time to build whoever the new coach is ...

This has got to be the slowest carousel for men's soccer that's ever happened. Not many changes. Even slower changes for many programs.

    Strange.

Just realized that Gonzaga had an interim this season and Coach Aaron Lewis was promoted to full head coach over the break.
