Makkelie saw the added time that Turpin gave last week and decided to make up for it

Good luck to them. It's sad that homosexuality is still viewed by some as weak or effeminate. For most of us, coming out at work would be relatively a non-issue.
However, when you work in a job that is seen as uber-masculine, coming out has to be that much more difficult. I wish them the best.

Hopefully once the snowball starts rolling down hill it will pick up pretty quickly. Once we get hundreds and then thousands to come out in football, each time will be less of a news story.

The ref blogs have Lahoz getting the Wales/Ukraine final. We will have to wait for confirmation tomorrow.

Based on another referee site I frequent, J-League referees have been wearing the new Adidas kits for a couple of months. But I believe this is the first time it’s been worn in a FIFA competition.

With the start of the Nations League, I'm going to close this thread and start a 22-23 one even though we still have the final WCQ playoff to play.
