The 2020 Major League Soccer SuperDraft presented by adidas will kick off Thursday, Jan. 9, at 12:30 p.m. ET with first round coverage streaming live on the ESPN App, as well as via ESPN social media channels on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. MLS expansion clubs Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC will have the top three picks in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, with Miami selecting first and third overall and Nashville picking second overall. FC Cincinnati has no picks in the first round. Traded their #3 overall pick to Inter Miami FC for $150k in GAM. They have the #29 and #53 picks. They traded their #81 pick to LA Galaxy for the rights to sign Zico Baily. FCC definitely not putting as much importance in the draft as last season. Haven't heard any rumors on who they may have in mind for their 2 picks. I certainly don't anticipate any of them being anything but reserve players in 2020.
Ortiz is 23, played four years at Portland with 14 goals and 26 assists. He played with the USYNT U-15's and at the LA Galaxy academy. He is a small guy, 5'5" 135lbs. His hometown is listed as Acapulco, Mexico. He did play for USYNT at one point so I'm not sure if he is considered an International Player or not.
