The idea that an expanded supporters group area and numbers are going to make up for drops in every other ticket price category seems like a long shot and a mathematically slim one as well. It almost seems like they have calculated that since they aren't going to invest in the team and the experience to attract higher price point buyers, they need bulk sales and volume to get their margins up. Being mouthy doesn't mean they are wrong. The area behind the goal doesn't seem that full normally but then again its not like the supporters groups have run out of space in their area. The supporters groups get far more accomodation and consideration than any other fan or groups of fans even though their numbers don't seem strong enough to warrant an overhaul of the seating map. Frankly, the FO should have gone to all the club seat holders and asked them what they wanted first to stay as season ticket holders.
