That's about 80% turnover from last season. Rwatubaye and Argueta are the only 2 players in that lineup that played a lot for the Switchbacks.

Based on @COMtnGuy's concerns over a 17 year old keeper being signed I did some research. The Rapids 3rd keeper has only been used in a league match in two seasons. The one we all remember, Pablo's dalliance with Joe Nasco over 4 games in 2014, and Steward Ceus getting the start for the opening game of the 2013 season. IIRC Pickens was injured (or suspended?) and Ceus was the more familiar keeper as Irwin had just shown up in preseason, so Pareja went with the known keeper over the better Irwin for the opening game This was the game in Dallas where Ceus had the howler of letting the ball bounce over him for a goal. After that game Pickens came back for two games, then broke his arm in the 7th minute of game 4, and Ceus had been demoted after that howler to 3rd string, so Irwin stepped in and that's when he claimed the starting role. Now I wouldn't be shocked to see Rodriguez as the backup on the bench for any friendlies we have and maybe in the USOC if he doesn't get Cup-tied to the Springs, but I'd be pretty surprised to see him get any game time this season.
