Who knew that fascism would be back in style? But in 2020, it's becoming our way of life...at least off the soccer field.

One of the most boring games of the tournament . Orlando played a lot like us with lots of possession and ball movement but few real chances. Portland was "compact" and lucky. Their 2 goals both came on set pieces and the second was very lucky. Blanco is the man to watch although he falls over on command like those goats I've seen on YouTube. They are beatable if we are sharp and open the game on the front foot and play with confidence.
I admit I was rooting for Orlando. Home side, plus it's fun to watch Oscar's expressions, and now we have to play a team that will be pumped from having won the MLS tournament.
gee guys, i thought the Final was really good. And I was so shocked that Oscar Pareja could make such a difference in the quality of play by ORL. The only thing they lacked was a consistent striker, especially since POR's right fullback Chris Duvall vastly neutralized and frustrated Nani. It also seemed like Pareja neutralized Valeri and Chara, but I couldn't figure out how he did that. I thought maybe he really widened the field, and they couldn't do as much short passing, but i dunno... Anyhow, I thought it was a good game.
I saw the first half, but then got distracted by dust motes floating in a beam of light, which was more interesting to watch...
the main reason I got "invested" in the game is because BSIthePodcast interviewed right FB Chris Duvall before the game. He hadn't even played for POR the prior 2 games, but they got him all hyped about kicking Nani. So when I saw Duvall was starting against ORL, i was really curious to see how he would do. And as I pointed out earlier, Duvall almost completely neutralized and frustrated Nani in the first half, and then in the 2H POR turned on their offense. I just thought the tactics by both coaches in this game were really interesting.
