He made that save based on positioning. He had his hand up and got it but that save was all about being in the right spot (which is a skill, so I don't want people to think I'm downplaying that). The Zelarayan goal was a volley at him from 6 yards away. He actually did really well to react and get a hand on it. Doyle has a clip of the play up and he reacts really quickly to get down. Pretty much almost right after the ball leaves his foot he is getting down to get to it.

That was amazing stuff from Zelarayan. Most guys take the shot themselves in that situation. He takes a touch, slots a great pass out wide. Perfect.

    And the finish was sublime.

Both goals have come from Columbus swinging the ball quickly across the field from deep right wing to the left side. Columbus seems to have identified Alex Roldan (in particular, his positioning) as Seattle's weak link.

Well, not sure he is actually to blame on that second one. Yemar steps out towards Zelarayan so Roldan sticks to Zardes who is in the middle of the box. Absolutely no one is there to help him out at the back post. He either marks Zardes or marks Etienne. He was screwed on that play no matter what.

Someone, I don't remember who, said VERY SPECIFICALLY on monday night after the Sounders had just had their epic comeback:

If they fall behind 2-0 to Columbus, they're not coming back.

Key 5 mins for both teams to close the half. Let's see what happens.

Aidan Morris' right foot looks like Jordan Morris' right foot.

Crew going really hard - will they get fatigued and struggle 2nd half?

I think Seattle with their green are Mexico in disguise and falling to a dos-a-cero in Columbus... they are getting crew-cified out there....

Should I open my Columbus beer now or after the game?
