Now that they are top of the table, I feel like a letdown is inevitable. Draw, 1-1. Toronto takes back the Shield lead. I hope I'm wrong and the Union blowing it stops being a thing.
Explain to me again why both times we play Columbus this year we are playing away? Not the fake "home" games we had in Orlando but outright having to go to Columbus both times. I mean, it sucks less than having to play many of your "home" games in another country but still...
Same reason the Union have 3 fewer home games than away games over the course of the season. It's all thrown together haphazardly and without any thought.
I had to go with a loss. I just can't believe that the Union will keep on winning. Nothing will make me happier than being wrong about this.
Bendik is even worse than I expected. Is Freese so bad that he can’t perform better than lead-footed Joe?
Looked good for stretches and credit to the Crew keeper for an outstanding game. My nuts feel like Ale and Kai's after that loss. Just get to clench it at home this way.
